Spurs kicking us off with a showdown against Saudi Arabia. It’s always best to beat state owned clubs, so COYS? I guess?

I wouldn't mind seeing Isak in a Liverpool shirt. If Newcastle have to do some selling. It's been on my mind for a while, moreso whenever he scores. I wonder what number gets it done?

Whoof. Spurs seemed completely shocked by Newcastle doing a back 5 bunker and counter at home and could not solve it on either end.

Should probably not be shocked, all teams except the ones with too much pride in their front foot football will do that until it stops working. Spurs are good enough that teams need to be reasonably high quality for it to actually work, they’ll break a minnow usually, but it’s the clear and obvious blueprint to beat them.

Litons defender down after his head deflects a Haaland overhead kick in. Probably the most justified head injury stoppage we have had all season he took all of that to the face from like 3 feet away

What a goal saving header from Murillo of Forest. Saves a goal.

Gio starting for the USMNT fans. Missed an early half chance.

I swear EPL refs are trolling us at this point. United just got a penalty off a deflection that is so insane I can’t believe it wasn’t an Onion skit.

Bournemouth probably feeling a bit unfairly done there at the end. I think it was outside the box but it was so close, I don’t know how they change the call on the field.

Especially when the line counts as inside the box. I certainly didn't see an angle that conclusively showed that the foul occurred entirely outside that line.

Groundhog Day with this squad. Let’s see if these boys are driving off the cliff again today.

I think it’s Trent time. Looked like a very unfortunate twist for Bradley.

Liverpool panicking a bit too early. They need to just play their game. Lots of time in this.

Play stopped at West Ham after George Earthy, making his PL debut coming on as a sub, fell awkwardly and hit his head on the turf after colliding with a teammate going for a header. Immediate fencing response, players motioned to trainers before play was stopped.

Carted off on a stretcher, no thumbs up or wave. Scary stuff.
