I fear that Dyche has lost the players.
There are some glaring problems in roster construction, but the starting XI is decent and have been giving creditable performances, week in and week out, even in the recent stretch of poor results - most games were competitive, the defending was sound, and the story was underperformance on xG, suggesting that just a goal or two here or there could turn it around.
This is the worst I have seen Everton play under Dyche.

coming into today, only the three teams in the title race have conceded fewer goals than Everton. Pickford has not been the problem.
I would say they were fighting over the ball because it was 4-0 at the time. If it’s 1-0, they are deferring to Palmer, I’d guess.
