We are blacked out from Houston, Texas, KC and St Louis. I am in Little Rock. As far as I can tell, I am unable to get any of those teams' local channels where I am at. The whole thing is ludicrous.
sorry to reliy again i think u can get bally sports southwest there

I'm in Raleigh, NC and get Washington and Baltimore's games blacked out. Zero sense.

I thought Raleigh got MASN, in which case it would make sense given that they have local rights to Nats/O's.

On the T-Mobile thing, it's how I got MLB.tv last year: there was a site (EDIT: it was SlickDeals) where you could trade a $5 Amazon GC for the T-Mobile account holder's access to MLB.

I get a free MLB.TV account through my subscription of Extra Innings on Directv and every year I have trouble linking my account. Does anyone else have this issue and how do you fix it?

I can get Bally Sports Southwest (and Oklahoma, whoopdedo), but I can't get Kansas City or Midwest (Cardinals games). I am legitimately unable to watch these games legally. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Apologies for needing this spelled out, but the press release explicitly says anyone with internet access can watch the games free. Do they really mean free, or free with your Apple TV subscription?

Free this year, just need the Apple TV+ app to view them.

Doesn't AppleTV+ have a web option? If you don't mind watching it on your computer.

That's a lot better than I was expecting. Several Yankee and Dodger games too.

Still waiting on the coupon code to get my discount.
Not sure if you've resolved this already or not, but I got an email from MLBPAA on 3/15 with the subject line "MLBPAA Members Save 50% with MLB.tv." The email contained a link to sign up with the discount. It's not actually a code that you input. Given the subject line it'd have been easy to misfile this as spam/promotion or what not.

I'm expecting a fair amount of angst over this one being unavailable on cable in DC and New York, as this will be Scherzer's return to DC and debut with the Mets.

Guess it’s just me lol.
I cut the DTV beam several years ago, but I did have this issue with getting my MLB.com account to sync at first in the pre-at&t ownership era. I think I called MLB support to "fix" it. Chat wasn't an option back then. Good luck!

I turned off auto renewal for my mlbtv subscription during the lockout. I think I'm going to try and holdout until the Father's Day deal. I haven't received any offers from MLB yet trying to pull me back in and I'm not holding my breath.

Warning for anyone buying a tmobile code, if you try to use a tmobile account holders subscription through a different phone provider's data plan there's a pretty good chance you'll end up being blocked. If you're just getting it to use on a pc/streaming device through regular internet then you'll be fine.

I had heard that was true last year but I have TMobile for my home internet and ATT for my phone. I watched/listened to dozens of games on my phone without any problems.

Right, I received that email too and got my "code" on 3/15 by email, only it wasn't a code but a direct link to sign up for MLB.tv. Just suggesting that you search your inbox/promotions/spam (see previous post for the subject line of the email) to make sure you didn't get the same email that I did. If you didn't, I'd contact the MLBPAA and ask them to re-send the email as you should definitely have it by now.

For anyone else having this problem, after 32 minutes on the phone with DirecTv with 2 people who had no idea what I was talking about, and 5 minutes on the phone with MLB.com, spring training games are not included in the free MLB.TV subscription through DirecTv. I told them they could do a better job making that clear as their own message says "all games".

Similar to us. Our sons are on TMo and I've used the free sub on my TotalWireless (mvno VZW) service for years.

But FWIW, I've also heard the same horror stories of using the TMo promo on non TMo phones, just haven't experienced it personally.

No activity over at Slickdeals on this promotion yet. If anyone sees another website that's active on links being sold, please let me know

FWIW, mine didn't give me a code this year, just prompted a login to my preferred account and then activated it. It may be a bit more of a two-step to get that going.

Just got the t mobile deal today (thanks thread); a little technical note: had to log out of the mlb app and back in. After that, tried to watch the game today and it still hadn't recognized the subscription. What fixed it for me was opening the radio broadcast for a second. After that the TV broadcast worked fine. (android app)

Just got the T-Mobile deal. Have a T-Mobile work phone and didn't know about the deal until people posted it here. Thanks, folks.

My friend tried to activate the T-Mobile thing for me but gets a “sorry we are unable to activate your mlbtv subscription.“ Any tips I can share with him?

The scores were wrong on my Roku version of the app. They had the visiting team with the most runs regardless of the game result. (So it looks like the Pirates beat the Cards 9-0, the Brewers beat the Cubs 5-4, and the Guardians beat the Royals 3-1, which were the opposite of all those results.)

I was afraid that this would be the year we wouldn't have to hear the same 4 commercials every half inning. Fear not!

I always have done MLB Extra Innings thru my cable company. Used the MLB TV deal thru TMobile this year. What a much better way to enjoy it. Better ui, features. Kicking myself for not doing it earlier.

Anyone having the issue with MLBTV App on Roku this year where even if you click, "Join Live," it takes you to the start of the game? And the only way to get live is to fast forward.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing on a few occasions. The first or second time, I thought I had clicked the "Start at Beginning" button, but the next few times, I made sure to click the "Join Live" button. This works on occasion. NOTE - once the video starts to play, there is a little icon right above the line that shows the times on the left of the screen. I can't quite describe it without having it in front of me, but that button does jump you to Live right away without having to fast forward. That should do the trick.

Just signed up through my T-Mobile account. Saves me plenty of money. This is fantastic. I've had T-Mobile for years and never was smart enough to take advantage of this. Best I could do before was get it through youtubeTV and thus deduct it from my taxes as I do video post-production and can deduct all streaming services. This obviously is better.
