Kyrie wouldn't come back, we don't want him back, and White plus detritus isn't going to get the Nets to...Irving for White, Gallinari, Pritchard, Kornet, and Jackson works.
Get it done Theo!
And he made one of the biggest pressure shots in NBA history. What a weird legacy.Kyrie is the softest and biggest loser in sports history. What a damn jackass.
Well, he is a great basketball player. I don’t think anybody in their right mind could deny that. And he made one of the biggest pressure shots in NBA history. What a weird legacy.
The Bulls have been rumored to be looking to move LaVine and you’ve got the bizarre Hawks situation with Trae too. There seem to be many options for the Nets if anyone wants Kyrie.About the only teams I see willing to do this is probably Lakers with Westbrook and two first round picks, or the Suns (Paul or Ayton?)
Great basketball player, but at times I'd be infuriated by his hero-balling. Still haven't gotten over the whole "I can guard Giannis" thing from the playoffs.Well, he is a great basketball player. I don’t think anybody in their right mind could deny that.
I dunno I think he would sit out.Honestly, the best option here for the Nets is probably going to be for the Nets to call his bluff. He needs to play for a contract, and I highly doubt the Nets will be getting anything back worth it.
Yeah. Great basketball player when he decides to be. He totally vanished after G1 last year too.Great basketball player, but at times I'd be infuriated by his hero-balling. Still haven't gotten over the whole "I can guard Giannis" thing from the playoffs.
Good points. The Bulls have been rumored to be looking to move LaVine and you’ve got the bizarre Hawks situation with Trae too. There seem to be many options for the Nets if anyone wants Kyrie.
Kyrie says that Doncic would make a great second banana.Good points.
And Dallas has been trying to find a running mate for Doncic, too... (although I doubt Kyrie would be content as a second banana.)
Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, both LA teams and perhaps a few others might have interest. I will be shocked if Irving's market isn't robust and everyone knows what they are getting with him. His ability to get buckets essentially overrides all other factors.Good points.

Wow, Al used to have hair. Brutal of her to draw attention to that.
I doubt this has anything to do with it. Both sides had contract extension talks and once they broke down Kyrie knew he wouldn’t be returning. Frankly, I don’t really blame him as he can try and get somewhere that really wants him. Of course, he made this bed himself I’m only speaking of todays decision actually making some sense for him to do.I wonder if KD's injury is expected to last longer than anticipated. I really wouldnt be surprised if KD gave him the heads up to get out while he can.
It's almost certainly just a temper tantrum because the Nets made it clear they won't give him a 3 or 4 year max.I wonder if KD's injury is expected to last longer than anticipated. I really wouldnt be surprised if KD gave him the heads up to get out while he can.
When? Isn't that old news? It's almost certainly just a temper tantrum because the Nets made it clear they won't give him a 3 or 4 year max.
Sounds about right. And frankly, I can't blame the Nets, they probably wanted to write in a lot of incentives to prevent Kyrie from abruptly deciding he could just take games off without being penalized for it. They need some safeguards to ensure he doesn't just up and go when he feels like itI doubt this has anything to do with it. You don't want him to submarine Miami too?Anywhere but Miami please
Speculation is that after he spent 2 months being good negotiations opened again, and he thought that the team playing well (and him playing well) and him not causing any controversy would make them change their minds. When? Isn't that old news?
Maybe he doesn't want Lowry on the Nets, actual perimeter defense and passing with Durant would be scary. You don't want him to submarine Miami too?
Makes more sense than getting Westbrook, and I have the nagging suspicion that Jimmy Butler would be strangling Irving, Homer-Bart style,.Maybe he doesn't want Lowry on the Nets, actual perimeter defense and passing with Durant would be scary.
But who is going to give them anything of actual value? But wouldn't that mean Durant is pretty much immediately out the door? At first glance feels like the nets need to appease him with the return right?
Westbrook winning 6th Man of the Year despite being traded mid-season as a dump would probably make heads around here explode. He's going to the Lakers. Kyrie and flotsam for Westbrook.
All they'd need is Rodman and the abolition of the 24 second clock and they could tie every game 0-0.Not sure how you have Ben Simmons, Russell Westbrook, and Nic Claxton all on the floor at the same time.
On the one hand a Kyrie-Jimmy drama could be highly entertaining, but on the other hand he would add much needed scoring to a team I am more than sick of at this point. If Kyrie has any discipline still hiding in his body then Spo is as good a bet as anyone to bring it out.You don't want him to submarine Miami too?
why is this savage, is she saying Boston should pick him up? I don't get it.
She's pointing out that he's a flake, and that she told the BRK people who said it was all the Celtics' and their fans' fault he left and he'd never do that to KD and BKN that he'd leave them too.why is this savage, is she saying Boston should pick him up? I don't get it.
Lowry, Strus, and Martin for Kyrie works in the trade machine. That seems like pretty weak value for Brooklyn, though. Have to imagine they can do better. On the one hand a Kyrie-Jimmy drama could be highly entertaining, but on the other hand he would add much needed scoring to a team I am more than sick of at this point. And on the flip side Lowry is the obvious matching salary. I have no interest in seeing him add toughness and playoff experience to a team sorely lacking both.
It is in fact the winter of his discontent.News of Kyrie's discontent is really making its way around the globe...
1) Miami's whole gameplan is conditioned around defense, turnovers and fast breaks. That was how they almost beat us. ISOs and lollygagging on defense is not what Pat Riley has in mind.Anywhere but Miami please
I get the Lakers doing it, but why in the hell would the Nets want Westbrook? Literally anyone in the league with an outside shot (and good enough to be on the court at the end of games) would be a better fit for them. If you've got Claxton/Simmons/Westbrook on the floor at the same time, your other two guys could be Durant and [Steph] Curry and it wouldn't matter, there's no offensive spacing.I can't imagine the Nets getting back anything to salvage their season and there is no reason to take on any long term bad contracts. Plus Kyrie is a FA in a few months so none of the bad teams make any sense.
Westbrook + whatever picks from the Lakers still makes the most sense to me if the Lakers want to try to salvage this Lebron/AD tandem. Maybe the Mavs make some sense if Kyrie and Doncic can play nice?
Al's face as Kyrie is pontificating on flat earth theory...why is this savage, is she saying Boston should pick him up? I don't get it.
