They were acting above the fray by celebrity dissing and when it comes down to it tried to score points by basically knowing who you were and your wife's name. The Park was nuts last night - different from the last three - there was a "been there before" attitude that was comforting and exciting. A mix of confidence and humility. And there is a zero percent chance that the crowd did not get to Clayton. I don't think he's ever experienced anything like that.
It was kinda bizarre--they went the extra mile to be jerks on the air for a very short period of time, though I didn't know about the poll.
