For those of us just watching game day, how much of this is Paxton’s fault vs the defense?
Paxton put a bunch of pitches in hittable places. Flores hit it somewhere. The crappy hitters got lucky, as did we.
Trading Paxton is waving the white flag. I am so sick of hearing about the guys that might come back. Injured guys are never guaranteed to come back.
Negative, I can watch Tampa and Houston with a really poor quality picture, or the O's and MFY, but no option for the Sox game.
Wait, are the Sox actually thinking about dealing Paxton? What the heck are these guys talking about.
You’d think with all the talk of teams playing themselves into contention when talking about trading Paxton, they’d mention that, like, the Red Sox are kinda top of the list of those teams.
Some twitterati upthread said that the Rangers were in the park to scout Paxton. That's it, I think.
He's not getting 2+ hits per game like he was for a while, but he's had 2 3 hit games in his last 5.
Yu Chang was better off taking all the way and hoping he threw a ball after those first two swings.
Yu Chang is better DFA'd after Story gets back. I'd still take Reyes over him as a utility guy who can't hit.
I have a signed picture of Kapler. I don't exactly remember how I got it, but I had quite a crush on the guy.
