He's had a great month. OPSing .784 in July prior to his 3 hit game tonight.
Duran, Masa and Casas (of late) have been getting all the headlines but this kid is good with the bat and on the bases. If he is credible on defense, let him cook.
Seems like he always makes it interesting. Gets in and out of lots of jams.
Yeah I get that but when he is playing of late it always feels like he is contributing.

That felt like a mercy hold even though they stole 2 bases in the inning and it's only a 5 run game.
Vazquez was good for us but Chaim cut bait and went with Wong at exactly the right time and absolutely should be on his (growing) list of solid moves.
Sox made a bunch of stupid plays tonight, and had to pitch a bullpen game, and yet they are so clearly a much better team than this horrible Mets team.
Mets as sellers is really interesting. As well as Cardinals, Padres, etc. could be a really wild deadline of salary dumps.
Absolutely. I just watched the ESPN broadcast and was informed that the Sox really have no shot at the playoffs, but the Mets are right smack in the middle of it.
At least Cone ended the broadcast by saying that these are two teams going in opposite directions.
Yeah. I like the make-up of this team. Don't know if they have enough arms to make up ground but if they do, they can do some damage in a series.
