Giants sent 25 pizzas to Royals front office

“The San Francisco Giants just called – and they want to send 25 pizzas to Kauffman Stadium for the Royals and their staff,” said Kenny Kantner, Manager and Partner for Minsky's at 51st and Main. It was a pretty exciting moment – especially when the Giants wanted to include this note: "Have fun planning the parade – and enjoy the ride!"

My wife's aunt owns a pizza joint in Albuquerque.  I shudder at the thought, despite the fact that she's from NYC.  And get this:  they're closed on Sundays, even during the NFL season.  I cant even begin to wrap my brain around that......

My wife's aunt owns a pizza joint in Albuquerque.  I shudder at the thought, despite the fact that she's from NYC.  And get this:  they're closed on Sundays, even during the NFL season.  I cant even begin to wrap my brain around that......

I'm gonna be going bar hopping in Albuquerque some time this month or next.  Should I stop in and ask her how Omar's Wacky Neighbor is doing?

According to an anonymous source with the Giants, San Francisco got the idea to send the 'zas (sorry) after the Red Sox, who had won the 2013 Series, sent the team some pies after last year's World Series.
