Last games before a two-week international break. Oh how I loathe those. From the club's perspective, it's two weeks with a far less qualified manager who has far less incentive to worry about a player's fitness. It's two weeks with travel to potentially far-flung places (London to Buenos Aires is a 13-14 hour trip) with jet lag and messed up sleep schedules. Most importantly, it's two weeks without club football, and I'm an addict and cannot go that long without a fix.
But I digress. At least there's a nice slate of games on. All games EST. Here's the EPL games:
Saturday
City vs WBA - 8:45a
Villa vs Swansea - 11a
Newcastle vs Arsenal - 11a
S'ton vs Burnley - 11a
Stoke vs Palace - 11a
Tottenham vs Leicester - 11a
West Ham vs Sunderland - 1:30p
Sunday
Liverpool vs United - 9:30a
Hull vs City - 12p
QPR vs Everton - 12pm
Liverpool vs United is definitely the matchup of the week, at least from a neutral's perspective. Huge top-4 implications.
Also, be sure not to miss el classico (Barca-Real) at 4pm on Sunday. And then there's also Bayern-Monchengladbach for a nice #1 vs #3 matchup in the Bundesliga at 12:30p.
