My dad does it with the Pats. Or did, during the Brady era. Won money on at least one of the Giants SBs. Didn't make him feel better.

Never before the game. But sometimes I buy disaster insurance when my team is ahead in a big game or series. Like when the Celtics got up by 10-12 in the Miami games the odds would usually go to around +2000 or so and I would buy the disaster comeback insurance for a few bucks. Time for that was after 3-1 when Leafs to win series was +900.

If Samsonov starts and loses that is basically eleventy billion times worse than what Monty did last year. And that was so so bad.

I always do this (and hope I lose the bet). I took Toronto to win the series before game 6 (+380).

I have to get up at 5am tomorrow. I won't be able to sleep knowing the game is going on but I don't think I will be able to sleep after the adrenaline rush once it's over. Fuck it. I'm all in. I'll sleep when I'm dead.

I hope they come out hitting. The Leaf's PP is so anemic, I'd take a few PIMs to set the tone. Be nice if we got a few calls too for once.
