I'm glad that our kids didn't have to wait as long as we did (in any of the 4 sports, actually). They've seen all 4 teams win it all in their short little lifetimes. Think about that! No having to say 30 years from now that the (pick one) Bruins/Sox/Pats/Celts haven't one in their lifetime. Awesome.
The Bruins have not only protected the Civic, they have defended the honor of the league from that team.
That's one Civic even the B's couldn't protect.

Ya... let's face it: he coached this game brilliantly. He didn't have last match, and still totally neutralized Vancouver for most of the game. Rolled 4 lines. Magic with the 4th line. Bergeron's line played possessed. 1st line wasn't effective, but they were fresh. Vancouver had nothing left in the tank 6-8 minutes into the third period. The D was totally gassed, and the sisters completely vaporized.
I give Kesler credit for playing like a warrior... he was the only one that acquitted himself well tonight for Vancouver.
The police need to start cracking a few skulls!

Seems so weird that they lost a 3-0 lead last year. Did any of the previous teams to do that win a cup the next year?
What an event! When i saw the bruins skating around with the cup it did not register. It may not register for a while.

Best 4th line in the postseason. The Thorton switch (though unfortunately necessary shortly after), as well as the Seguin switch in the first place. Julien coached his ass off in the bonus dance. Just about every button pushed worked.
I rarely post. But I read about 95% of the words written in RMPS, and I have to say I wouldn't know half of what I know about hockey if it wasn't for you guys.
