Jersey is on. Chili is cooking. Workday is started early so I can log off and watch when the game starts.

I'm ready. The B's are ready. We're all ready. Let's do this.

Win.

Fair enough. Good luck (although the concern in the theater would seem to apply elsewhere, no?)
The background to the reference in the theater does not involve physical injury -- it refers to the piece of scenery known as a leg. (Full theater nerd reference: in the days of vaudeville, one only got paid if one got onstage, i.e. past the edge of the "legs" which were the vertical curtains on the sides of the stage. So it was good luck to "break a leg" and get onstage and thereby get paid.)

Hillel will be in the house, ponied up for some Center Ice seats. I don’t think I’ve been to a Bruins game in Boston for a decade, as I just relocated back to New England. I do remember turning down Bruins tickets for the greatest hockey game ever played in 2011, because my family was there for graduation and I felt guilty abandoning them (I should not have). The goal is to get to the first and last games of these playoffs. Let’s win both.

If I wanted to learn, I’d go to school.

And thus concludes my learning for the day.

This is interesting, thank you!

Speaking of shitting, I woke up with diarrhea this morning - gonna blame my daughter and my Chinese food from last night. Thankfully it has not gotten to the “shitting myself” point but can keep you posted. Lesson: Even if I don't shit myself, the Bruins shouldn't get as close to it as I have.

FWIW, Ullmark and Swayman were both on the ice this morning. So it would seem one of them should be good enough to play.

I'm guessing Grz is coming out on defense. I don't love it, but that seemed to be the way things were trending prior to Forbort's injury. They also held Grzelcyk out of the scrimmage portion of practice on Saturday saying he was sore.

I'm guessing Bergeron plays unless he's basically bed ridden by the illness. It seems like they were gearing up for him to play through whatever is nagging him and then the illness hit. Not sure what to make of the goalies. Swayman was sick yesterday but back today. I believe Ullmark practiced throughout the weekend and skated this morning so not sure if his listed as a GTD is he's got a lesser version of the illness or the injury suffered against Washington is more serious than they've let on.

Supposedly the full list of guys that skated this morning: Hall, Frederic, Ullmark, Swayman, Bussi, Grzelyck, Zboril, Forbort. The healthy scratches usually skate in these. The goalies we know 2 of the 3 will be starter/backup. If Foligno is going in, it's possible Frederic comes out. Ditto for Forbort and Grzelyck. Zboril is scratch. Hall is working his way back from injury so that would explain his being on the ice.

I'll be in the rafters with my nephew and brother. I haven't been in person in several years as well and this will be all of our first playoff games ever.

Last time I was there, the Bs won, so let's do that again.

Didn't the 2011 team have the flu going around the room at the start of the Montreal series?

The timing sucks but if there's any team that has the depth to deal with this, it's the Bs.

Yes. That is the series when Z missed the first 2 games and before game 3 he gave an interview where he looked like he'd just beaten Death himself in a 12-round boxing match.

Is that the series where they gave him a hard time for drinking coke on the bench?

Cheese, crackers, and grapes. Not enough crackers, but pretzels purchased separately to finish off the cheese chunks with.
