Not much on Simmons who is currently trying to figure out how to make the 50+ point drumming Celtics gave the GSW about the Lakers.

However former SoSH Great SeanBerry is currently looked in a basement for Barstool for 100 hours. I am not sure what the reason is.

Is this where we're game threading this?

Can we put Drocca in there with him, and have a Ginger Skinny reunion?

Christ, it's 12:20 AM here and I'm watching this... really I'm the one being tortured. (Or torturing myself.)

I can't post in that chat without subscribing? I want to troll him, but not that bad.

Someone should definitely tell Sparky that Berry is in a basement.

22 years on this message board --- and I still don't know who SeanBerry is in real life.

Am I missing anything?

This ‘challenge’ - which appears to be entirely self-directed - is simultaneously difficult and pointless enough to be stupid but not difficult enough to impress anyone.

Chad Finn is on the board.

At one time, John Henry was.“There was a point during this season that was very tough. But I came here, Shaun, and read your Bandwagon thread and was uplifted by the depth and breadth of your faith. It was, at the time, the best thing we were reading anywhere. These guys – I’m so proud of them – they refused to lose for the faithful this week. I’m proud of everyone who refused to get off the bandwagon.” - October 23, 2004, SoSH.

It's a shame--Chris is actually a very gifted writer, and if he can make a living at Barstool then more power to him, but he'd be so much better at The Athletic or some other publication that doesn't cater to fetal alcohol syndrome sufferers.

Didn't Seanberry intentionally try to get banned from SoSH? Or did it just appear that way from a casual / lurker perspective?

Saw a video on Tiktok of Berry struggling to get up 55 pounds on the bench press.

@Marciano490 , how long did it take you to get him from just the bar to a whole 55 pounds?

For the folks watching this (I have not seen a second of the footage) - what would be your salary requirements to have this be part of your job description?

Are we sure he didn't finally have to poop?

Is there any way this could be a legal problem for barstool?

Is he getting paid hourly for this? I’m really curious what the terms of this were.
You think there was something written up contractually? Probably falls under the "other duties as assigned" line on the job description to drive engagement with a benefit to him of people talking about him.

Chris is an improv guy, this is a bit. It has been pretty boring when I've looked in, so this turning off the stream and encouraging it to trend is savvy publicity.

And then they turn off the cams and no one is talking about him? Does this count as a 100 hour work week for him? They seem to suggest this is vacation time. Just strikes me as something that seems like it would be in trouble territory.

I thought he said it was a joke. I can’t find it but I haven’t looked.

I’ve found the whole think amusing but I don’t really know why it would be if you don’t know Berry.

Did he ever date a 25-YO when he was 18?
No idea. Our high school was small (about 500 kids total, around 100 in my senior class), but we weren't in the same clique.

My (admittedly fuzzy because this was 27+ years ago) memories of him were that he was a smart guy. Witty. Sarcastic. A lot of his humor seemed to stem from hot takes and shit takes (before that terminology existed). He was always kind to me in our limited interactions, but given it was high school in the mid-90s it's hard for me to tell if he was being genuine or simply someone who didn't want to be a schmuck to the only guy in school who was in a wheelchair. IIRC, he did steal or damage one of my friend's pairs of sneakers as a prank.

His SeanBerry takes on the Patriots definitely fit what I remember of him.

I’m alittle confused. He left with three hours left but it’s not clear why?
Around 1030-11 he got the second puzzle that said the stream was off, and they told him on microphone. He asked if he was on then and what time it was, no response.

So he thought he might not be on, and packed stuff up. Looked in the hallway long enough to ask if someone would tell him the time, went back in.

Did he have any sense of what time it was? He seemed to hav a fix most of the time.
