Never seen two semi final games with so many critical replays

That’s definitely incomplete in the pros. A little surprised to see it called that way in college.

That probably wasn’t a catch as he appeared to bobble it as he stepped OB.
It will probably go Bama’s way.

Edit - the refs appeared to get it correct. I am slightly surprised.

That pass by Tua was great.

Are they ever going to call Oklahoma for PI?
It's amazing really. These OU defensive backs have their hands all over the Bama receivers all the way down the field. These aren't even hard or questionable calls. If the flags got thrown, nobody would bat an eye.

Bama was doing the same thing on a couple of plays also.

Edit - I was specifically thinking of the almost interception on the last possession where the DB shoved the receiver in the back with both hands and got full extension. I was surprised it wasn’t called. Would have only been 15 yards.

Would’ve liked to see Bama GFI on 4th and short at midfield. OU is moving the ball pretty well between the 20s since the beginning of the 2nd quarter; even if the punt hadn’t been shit, there wasn’t a ton of upside in making them march from the 15 to the 50.

Yeah, it has been consistent. As a Bama fan, I have no issue with the non-calls; perhaps OU has benefited on balance, but that’s because Bama is throwing a lot more deep balls.

Bama is definitely going to win. I just want a competitive game before Bama vs Clemson part 100.

I also want Kyler in the NFL and somehow on the Pats.

Bama is just amazing.

This is trading time for space at this point. Saban went into prevent from last drive in first half

OU never had an answer for this 2-TE set. Not sure why Bama got away from it.

Saban losing his shit is awesome
I don't get how he lets the guy walk away from him while he's yelling at him. Make him stop and look at you. That just seems like he lets the player get away with disrespecting him. But what do I know? Saban is pretty good at his job.

Think Saban is going to keep taking the ball out of Tua's hands now? Hey Nick, how about you start throwing the ball all over the field, instead of constantly trying to run on first and 2nd down against the shittiest pass defense on Earth.

He had a player punch a player on the other team, push an assistant coach and yet he still played the rest of a national championship game.

Tua is obviously playing great, but I am really impressed with Kyler.
He is playing well against one of the best defenses in the country with his best receiver injured (his only contribution tonight is two drops).

If Clay Matthews did that tomorrow, he'd be suspended for a month. That's roughing the passer at every level.

Moving the Line
How wasn't that an unsportsmanlike call? I haven't had an issue with too many of the non calls tonight, but that one seems rather blatant to leave uncalled.

Amazingly, they didn't call roughing the passer, and they didn't call a personal foul on the offensive lineman that came over and hit the Bama player after the whistle. That's just egregious refereeing, and you're asking to lose control of the game.

Yep. I feel like something pretty bad is going to happen as tempers flare even more.

OU does know they're down by 18 right? What the hell are they letting the play clock get down to 5 consistently for?

There's just so much talent on the field tonight. A lot of guys in this game are going to be making big money playing on Sundays.
