Here's my prediction for this week's CFP:

1 Georgia
2 Alabama
3 Oregon
4 Ohio State

5 Michigan
6 Michigan State
7 Cincinnati
8 Notre Dame
9 Ole Miss
10 Oklahoma State
11 Oklahoma
12 Wake Forest

UR Houston

If Ohio State loses to Michigan State, I think Notre Dame jumps Cincinnati next week.

I don’t see Michigan State keeping up with Ohio State. Texas will lose by at least 21. Who cares.

I do predict if Georgia beats Alabama ND will get the 4th spot (assuming Ohio State wins out).

Ugh, just realized that the ESPN2 game tonight is at EMU. Why would the conference or network ever choose to showcase a game at that stadium?

I should start listing canderson's line for the UT game along with ESPN's.

Michigan State has extended Mel Tucker to to a 10 year, $95 million contract.

That seems … excessive … for a coach with one good season to date.

No idea if there's any truth to the rumors, but he was supposedly halfway out the door to LSU a week ago.

Even if that was just a bluff, it was powerful enough to prompt MSU to drop a huge contract on him.

Unbelievable drive for tOSU to start the game. 12 plays, every play gained yards, and it ended in an easy TD.

It's calls like that "incomplete pass" for Michigan State that make me care about college football a little less every year. The refs did their best to hand Michigan State a field goal but they still fail.

...and a few seconds later it's game over. 21-0.

Haunted by the ghost of Saban.

in any event, this pathetic performance will thankfully put an end to all the righteous indignation about MSU being disrespected by the Committee.

This has been an absurd display of offense efficiency for tOSU.

They are averaging like 40 yards per play. Everything they do ends in a TD. 28-0 after 17 minutes is insane.

That is about the best catch you will see a college player make. This game is hilarious.

35-0. 20 minutes have elapsed.

Penn State, whose season unwound rapidly with four losses in five games, just turned to QB No. 3 during a scoreless second quarter against Rutgers, for crying out loud. The QB is a freshman from Toronto. And yet we watch. Some of us. Very few Nit alums in New England.

Almost every year, the Big Ten is Ohio State and no other elite teams by the time December comes around. Bigger, stronger, faster, better. Chris Olave can graduate any time he chooses.Conference has three elite slot WRs with Olave and Dotson and the kid from Purdue.

This Ohio State game is legitimately impressive.

There has not been a single good thing to happen to Michigan State. It is either bad offense or a toothless defense. And it's not like Ohio State is getting turnovers. MSU just can't stop them.

Can MSU rescind their offer at halftime?

Texas is on pace for my predicted 49-17 ass kicking. Might end up giving up closer to 60.

The Buckeyes offense now clearly taking a conservative approach... still go 85 yards to the end zone.

Stroud 29 of 31 for 393 yards in the half.

I want to thank the BC coach for running straight into the line on 1st and 2nd down. Noles tried hard to choke.

If Dawgs beat Bama (SEC champ game) and OSU beats Michigan and Utah beats Oregon can we get:

Georgia
OSU
Cincy
ND

FCS action: With the SoCon championship on the line, #21 Mercer lines up for a 42-yard attempt down three to #8 ETSU with three seconds left. The kick bounces off the right upright and in ... but ETSU calls a timeout. The next attempt sails wide left. Good news for schools on the bubble.

You're not, save that the CFP rankings aren't really a "poll", so it only vaguely matters where the teams are currently ranked. I think a one-loss Big 12 champion gets in ahead of Cincy. Hell, I think they'd put in one-loss Notre Dame before they put in Cincy. But we'll see.

Cincy beating ND H2H makes it interesting

It would come down to how much weight a conference championship would carry for OK State. If the other option is Notre Dame, the answer is none. The Irish are already ahead of them in every poll, have never been penalized for not playing in a conference (just the opposite) and are always favored by the human element of the polls.

However, it could easily be used as the excuse to keep Cincinnati out.

But Notre Dame's schedule isn't all that great with USC, Stanford, Florida State down and no Michigan Mighigan State anymore. Their best win is Wisconsin. I think it would be a mistake to take them over undefeated Cincinnati. ED: maybe I misread your post. You are saying OK State would be the reason to keep Cincinnati out. That makes more sense. Awesome Fossum was talking about ND over Cincy.

I think taking 1-loss Notre Dame over undefeated Cincinnati when Cincinnati holds a head-to-head win would be outrageous. I still think they might do it. If there is also a 1-loss Big 12 champion, they can side step that issue and just take them. If Cincinnati loses and it's between 1-loss Notre Dame and 1-loss Oklahoma State, I think they take Notre Dame.

The thing nobody seemed to be talking about is that by the time he did control that catch, had he landed out of the end zone? (His foot/feet and knee were down in the end zone originally, but he might have lost control after they were back in the air.)
That's what I saw. Ball never touched the ground but by the time he had it his elbow had landed out of bounds.

Unbelievable by Arkansas here. No urgency down two scores. Run after run, with no effort to get out of bounds.

And now they go back to the air and get the score, but… tick, tick, tick. With no timeouts left.
