These band kids must be so excited to be playing Rush songs.

I don’t know the first thing about being a good marching band director but would have thought making 20 year olds play shit because the 50 year old band director liked it is not exactly the model to aspire to.

”Hey, Dr. Smith can we please do some Zeppelin.”

I was at a high school hoop game the other night and was shocked that one of the warmup tunes was "There's no one like you" by the Scorpions, circa 1983. The rest of the music was very recent (and very awful, but to each his own). Go figure. Sounded damn good on the sound system they had, which was even more surprising.

Felt like the game had already shifted to OSU but that would be a really tough way to have an excellent game decided.

This is one of those situations where if Utah miraculously scores a TD, go for two; because no way the odds of them prevailing if the game goes longer are any better than 25%.

(edit) Didn't think they'd score that fast. Kid wasn't shy about throwing the ball which is surprising.

I would have agreed, except for the fact they scored so early.

Utah needs a turnover

Wait they just used their last time out?

edit: okay they're kicking... why not take it down to 2 seconds?

Yeah, announcer says Utah, is trying to prevent the big play. OK, brilliant strategy, I guess just sit back, and hope OSU missing a chip shot FG

Great, Utah will go home with 3 timeouts instead of at least having around 25 seconds instead of 9 seconds on this kickoff. It is academic, but a bad coaching call nonetheless.
