He'll probably wind up starting in Brooklyn at the rate their offseason is going. (Nader, that is).Yes, Brown's best game. Nader looks good too, really, throughout the summer showing he can shoot, drive and dribble. I wonder if they should give him a shot at the 2 guard?
Looks to be pretty adept in what Golden State does very well, rather than go up to challenge a shot in the paint, he'll try and steal it when they're gathering at the waist to go up with the ball.Definitely a positive game for Brown. The single stat I care about most in summer league (and in any small sample) is steals, so he's grading out well there.
I've never bought the hype around Mickey but he has stretch-4 potential. Defensively he was lost all last preseason and doesn't seem to have picked up the nuances of the reads and rotations. He can't see the floor in real games until that happens.Mickey looks like he is playing with oven mitts on. Second good feed from Brown he has fumbles.
The summer isn't over. The playoff bracket begins today with the potential for as many as 4 more games.Agree on Nader. I also read that he has a 7 foot 1 inch reach, and has played point guard at times. His combination of skills is definitely NBA ready; I'm just not sure that the C's will have a spot for him
Overall this summer, I thought that Brown was somewhat of a disappointment, and "somewhat" only because of his impressive last game. Still, I'm happy with what I see from him, mostly because he doesn't appear to have any major weakness. We all worried about his shooting, and he was nothing great this summer, but you can see that he has a decent stroke and can shoot 3's, pull-ups, and of course, drive to the basket. That's quite a repertoire for a guy with his athleticism. You could see guys playing off him on some of his easy pull-ups, obviously respecting his blow-by ability. He also showed flashes of having a decent handle, passing and defensive ability. His ENTIRE game needs to improve but the basics are all there to go with the high celling
Hunter and Young basically bring one thing to the table - 3 point shooting. The rest of their game is average or less, so with the C's need for this shot, I think one, but only one, of these guys will make the roster. Right now, my money is on Hunter as I think he has a better overall game including shot-blocking/intimidating ability from the backcourt.
I believe it's 5pm Pacific, so 8PM Eastern and on ESPN2.Cs end up seeded 19th. Playing the Cavs today; tip-off at 5. This says it's being shown at 8; I hope that's accurate.

I don't know about y'all, but I'm totally drinking the Naderade.
It is actually funny how bad he isMarcus Thornton is one of the worst SL players I've ever seen. And that's saying something.
Worse than James Young? It is actually funny how bad he is

Me too. Not sure why he doesn't get a little more run.I don't know about y'all, but I'm totally drinking the Naderade.

But not half as disconcerting as the layup clanks.Damn, those free throw clanks by Brown are disconcerting.
Yeah. This sounds crazy, but I don't think he can palm the basketball. He seems to lose it very easily, which will render him unable to finish consistently. But not half as disconcerting as the layup clanks.
No, not really. Only in the "he's got a long way to go" sense. You guys are discouraged by Brown's performance tonight? He's practically making me drool.
I keep telling myself that he's 22 and playing in summer league, but he looks terrific. He's ready to play.Rozier is getting me excited. The Celtics' backcourt goes 4 deep now. Very nice depth to have.
