I agree with can't having too much pitching, but these issues don't always work themselves out. They usually do, but not always. The Sox are on the cusp of having six starters and I don't have a link, but heard on the radio that Dombrowski said Kelly is not heading to the pen. I am very skeptical that Clay is headed to the DL, and he doesn't seem suited to relieving. I think Wright should stay in the rotation, but if Kelly isn't heading to the pen then Wright might be the Sox choice as sending any of Price, Porcello or Rodriguez to the pen doesn't make much sense either.Zero chance Wright goes to the pen given his performance, and if he does, then at that point we have a whole new topic and a serious question about the decision-making process.
If Clay doesn't go DL, then Kelly heads to the pen. As a reminder though, these problems always tend to work themselves out in the end. Let us remember that under no circumstance can one have too much pitching, cash, hookers, or cocaine.
