Series 9: CUBS vs SOX
We dropped 2 of 3 in Cleveland, that rubs
me the wrong way, but I won’t hit the pubs.
The scrappy Sox with a lineup of subs
hung tough with one of the league’s toughest clubs.
So many stars have seen doctors in scrubs,
had surgeries, or sat soaking in tubs,
but those who’ve filled in are much more than schlubs.
We’ve had thrilling wins. We’ve cut down on flubs.
We won’t be a squad another team drubs.
We’re home. Buy tickets. Hold on to the stubs.
See who gets to play and who Cora snubs.
Chicago and Boston are baseball hubs.
Our walls don’t have ivy. (Not even shrubs),
but let’s dig in like we’re searching for grubs.
To hell with the Els. Let’s go get some dubs.
We can’t bear to lose, so let’s beat the Cubs.

Always fun when the Cubs & Giants come to town, should be a fun homestand regardless of the product on the field.

I'm looking forward to watching Imanaga pitch tonight. He was the one who I thought the Sox should have gone after more than anyone else in the offseason, especially at that price. So far, he's been a bargain.

Bears don't wear pants. They don't typically wear baseball jerseys, either but that's not the point.
Now explain why the bears who don't wear pants in the Charmin commercial come across a pair of underpants in the hall

Me, too.
Will root against him, tonight, though.
Geaux, Sox.
p.s. @YTF, your clothing suggestions are crazy. It's still too cold. Get back to us in July with that costume.

REALLY hoping this is the last series with both Reyes and Valdez in the lineup.
I mean…. Obviously Dalbec too, but unless Cora remembers that Refsnyder can play 1B, he’s parked there for likely the next 2 months
No way on Dalbec. Between the May 1 opt outs and Garrett Cooper, something will break this week.

Man, what the FUCK is happening with Yoshida?
@alexspeier
Vaughn Grissom will play 9 innings on Saturday and Sunday in Triple-A, with possible activation on Tuesday.
Pivetta could have a rehab start next week.
Yoshida, Cora said, could be back in the lineup tomorrow, with a good chance Devers is able to play 3B.

But he's not injured right?
It's so bizarre that he hasn't played.

Their pizza is like what you get when someone tries to make Sicilian pizza based on a vague, half mumbled description. While drunk.
Chicago pizza isn’t pizza. I thought this was well established and not warranting of further discussion?
