The interior passing to Porzingis has been fucking pathetic all game. By literally every player

This is 100% a game thread post and I won’t stand by this but this Celtics team is just not a serious team. You just can’t get punked on your home floor by a severely depleted Heat

Porzingis has been horrific all game. I think he might just need to sit

I think the Miami 3 point shooting got into their heads and they are playing frustrated. We'll see if they have a run in them.

Jaylen Brown is the only guy who showed up tonight
For all their talk about not taking games off in the playoffs, it sure feels like they're treating this one like a random mid January game. Some - not all - of the hot shooting is just not giving a shit about closing out.

Hard to argue in the moment. I mean I'm about to subscribe to your substack and all that. But there's a lot of game left.

This is good for them. This season has been largely too easy and they're going to need to deal with some adversity and work to overcome it. Especially if/when they face a team down the road like the Nuggets

Tatum seems frustrated about something.

Holiday and Porzingis have just sucked.

White hasn’t been bad but he hasn’t been good either.

A very weird game

If you can’t knuckle down and actually play defense and deal with the same double te you saw last game in the fourth then you shouldn’t be talking about even trying to handle Jokic

In the vein of game thread posts…maybe this new officiating is making Porzingis less effective?

I’m always struck at just how easily he gets pushed off his spot. You’re a big dude, stand your ground

Why is Robinson just allowed to hack the shit out of people to create turnovers?

I knew a game like this would be coming as soon as the matchup was decided, but didn't imagine it being at home.

This is also the point in the game where the Nuggets said fuck this noise and began to slowly assassinate the Lakers. Gotta do the same

That was one of the most laziest quarters of Celtics basketball I've seen this season and there have been lots of them. Wake the hell up, boys! It's the playoffs. This Heat team has no Butler and if they steal this one, Miami will have hope.
