1PM start

Pat Riley sucks, the Heat fans suck, Bam Adebayo sucks so much he hasn't made a clean pick since the Clinton administration. Take revenge on these fools.

where I was last at
One team has nothing to lose
One team has everything to lose.
One team is a street fighter MFer
One team plays nice
One team knows how to close
One team doesn't
One team has coach Houdini
One team has coach whodoneit
Celts should kick the Heat into a deep fucking freeze in 4.
Let's hope the Celts are motivated to play to their potential for 48 every game.

And also send a message,
we're not playing games anymore

GO CELTS

I want Butler to pull a Willis Reed, hobble back on the court to play in game 4 down 3-0 and then get stomped on the way to a Celtics 30 point win.

Heat culture is weird made up stupid garbage. Sink the Miami frauds and make Pat sad.

Their fuckin stadium was half empty for that Bulls game with their season on the line.

This team has no culture and no actual fans.

Fuck the Heat, fuck their culture, fuck all of this shit. From ESPN

But those who watch Celtics games might still be a tad concerned. The Boston Globe sent a reporter to Miami to cover this play-in game despite the Heat not being considered a realistic threat to oust the Celtics this year.

One way or another, this series will definitely have a narrative, whereas a series with the Bulls would not have had one.

It will range from “the Celtics choke again“ to, hopefully, “the Celtics emphatically exorcise all their Heat demons via an easy sweep.”

Weirdly it's sort of like the Brooklyn series in 21-22 where I think most of us thought "Oh, fuck, these guys again" and then the C's swept them straight up (despite G1 being a nailbiter and the series being relatively close).

Except this Heat team is a lot less talented

Yeah, but there's still mental demons (at least for us as the fans).
Yeah.. I think we’ve seen what this team can do to mental demons..I was nervous with them against golden state until they put that to bed.

if Miami plays like they did in the two play in games.. it’s going to be a short series.

Revenge time.

JT is on another level.

JB have improved so much in terms of court awareness on both O and D.

Handing the keys over to DW from Marcus is a massive improvement in terms of playing smart in half-court.

We have massive talent advantage on every spot of the roster.

Let's go!

Wtf happened to Kornet? Calf strains are no joke, nor is being ruled out day before the game.

Hopefully Kornet’s injury is no big deal, but this means that Tillman will likely get significant minutes, and he probably matches up better against Bam.

I doubt Tillman (or Kornet) get more than a few spot minutes here and there. It's the playoffs. Joe is going to go with the top 6 plus PP and Hauser for the majority of these games.

A “few spot minutes” can be significant. We’ll see. Tillman seems like a good matchup against the Heat, to counter the physicality,

I disagree with this approach, if Joe takes it. Use the bench, it’s a major asset. Especially with KP, he’ll need his rest.

Against this team? I'd rest the starters. Our bench can take em.

Obviously kidding, but I really don't think it will be significant.
Given what our bench did in the last couple games.. they may not be all that bad an option. I want JM to use whatever lineups it takes to pound on this Heat team.

Bummer on Kornet, I guess injured it in practice?

Heat are going to muck this up even more than usual, might be a painful series to watch. Hopefully not.

Tickets coming down in price. Weird for a Sunday when game 2 and 5 are Wednesdays

I'm hoping for an opening tilt that leaves the Heat thoroughly and decisively beaten. They are, however, an extremely well-coached, disciplined team that plays continuous committed defense. I'm not going to be discouraged by a hard-fought win this afternoon. Go Cs!

What are people using to stream? The set up for Fubo and sling are wildly confusing, and YouTube TV doesn’t have ABC(?).

Edit- Looks like ABC is on YouTube tv.

I'm using an antenna. I also have Fubo but pausing it until The Celtics return next season.

Beat this sewer dwelling organization badly, then bury them, dig them up, revive them, then beat them again.

The only definition of Heat Culture that should exist involves a doctor ordering tests to determine why the starting five is on life support and how the hell the ghoulish team President is still alive.
