Cain steals bases so well that I'm not sure that was a smart play. But, whatever, he's on third. What do I know.
One of the things I'm loving about replay is that when throws beat the runner, the runner is no longer automatically out. The umps are now actually looking to see whether the tags get down in time. Before replay, if the throw had the runner beaten, you had to blatantly see a "non-tag" of the runner to get a safe call out of the play.
Thus far, the only parallel I'm seeing between the Royals and the 2007 Rockies is they both win. KC has had a much harder road already.
I'll be fine with reviews of the neighborhood play when they make it so runners have to have a majority of their bodies in the baseline when breaking up the double play.Al Zarilla said:

As long as there isn't another baserunner, walking him isn't the worst thing, but he's losing the plate
