Nice Wade. Remember when he was the throw-in with Shields, when TB fleeced the Royals?
3 win season as a reliever. Nuts.

EDIT: Wow. Nice one Gordon.

What makes that nuke even more impressive, if my games of MLB The Show are any indication, is that O'day is fucking impossible to hit.

...when facing a RHB. Gordon doesn't fit the profile.

Buck didn't have another lefty in the pen? Sidewinder righty against a left handed power guy?
I was thinking the same thing. Easy pickings.

The psychic balance in this series is teetering right now. If the Royals manage to hold on here, essentially beating both of their late-game relievers, the have a big advantage going forward. But if the O's manage to pull this one out, they could well roll.

Cal getting all touchy about the Camden short porch comment.  Fuck you Ripken.  Your iron man record probably cost your team a shitton of wins.  But you played those losses the right way...

:bravo:  BTW, Johnny A had his anniversary the other day. Thought about you.
Just reminded me, thanks.

Every single game the Royals have played these past two weeks has been great theater.  Just amazing.

Now that you mention it, it's a bit weird having a color commentator in the playoffs so closely linked with one of the teams.

That's a tremendous job by Gordon, after being hit in the neck the time before.

And now Moustakas!

Joe Buck says hello.  And the suddenly slugging KC Royals say, "oh - oh, oh, oh, oh, oh"

So tell me again; the team with the least Home Runs in the AL this year is crushing it against the team with the most?
