HomeRunBaker said:Can we please stop with the "How didn't the Patriots know Hernandez was a bad character guy?" This is the NFL.....it takes a certain kind of crazy to be a high level collegiate football player (aside from your finesse positions - QB, P, PK) now take that up a few notches to be a successful NFL player. These guys do not function the same way as the majority of society. Here are the 27 NFL players who have been arrested since the end of the season.......mind you, these are only those who have been ARRESTED, not those who have committed crimes only the ones who have been caught.
It takes a special kind of sick to play at the level necessary in the NFL with includes rampant drug usage and always has.....why would anyone expect this type of individual to be a normal member of society once they step off the field. It is very difficult for these guys to separate the too due to the nature of the game and lifestyle they lead to get to this point.

Dear NFL team,
I admittedly have had some issues with "________ " and "_______ " in the past, I can understand if you may be concerned with some aspects
of my character.
To show my sincerity, I am wiling to provide weekly
verification's that I will not "__________" or "_________ " and not “____ _____ ____” if you select me as
a draft pick/select me via free agency.
I will voluntarily submit to “Psychiatric Evaluations/Anger Management/Substance Abuse counseling/FID certification”
In the previous incidents, I clearly exhibited immaturity and poor choices.
Some of these are definitely overblown, for example:
I did not stick my “___” in that hussy’s “____” And she did willingly go into the alley with me for a “______”
and did not appear passed out at all, hence the facebook post and tweets (why would I do that otherwise?)
In the case of my DUI, I only had 1 beer, and can to this day not explain the 0.36 BAC as reported.
The presence of Ketamine, MDMA and Oxycodone reported by” _______” county sherrif’s office remains a mystery,
I assure you I did not willingly or knowingly snort/smoke/shoot/drink/inject or turkey baster any of the above mentioned narcotics into my body.
I commit to working hard on and off the field to demonstrate
the positive changes I have made.
If you still have concerns, please consider that I run a
3.85/40 yard dash, catch everything thrown within 35 yards of me, and average 25 YAC.
While I am finishing up my jail time, my agent will be
available 24/7 if you have any other questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Questionable Character Guy

What sort of timetable for an eventual trial would we be looking at if the judge sees enough evidence? And would the whole process basically restart if the judge throws out the presented case?

Two years before they were teammates in New England, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow squared off twice on the field, with Brady winning each game handily.
After the first one, coming in December 2011 and at the height of Tebowmania, the two quarterbacks shared concerns about Aaron Hernandez and Brandon Spikes, who played with Tebow at the University of Florida and then with Brady on the Patriots.
“I’m trying to watch over Aaron and Brandon,” Brady says to Tebow in an NFL Films video, via the Orlando Sentinel.
“I appreciate that, too, man. They’re good guys,” Tebow says in response.
“[T]hey’re a lot to handle,” Brady adds.
SkyHawk92 said:(MyFoxBoston.com) - Traffic was stopped and backed up on Route 128 South Tuesday afternoon as investigators conducted a search possibly in connection to the Aaron Hernandez murder case.
The search was not confirmed to be related to Hernandez; however, when FOX 25 called Mass. State Police to inquire about the search, authorities said to contact the Bristol County District Attorney's Office even though the search was in Norfolk County.

The only part of this I find remarkable is the omission of Jermaine Cunningham. "I'm watching out for Aaron and Brandon ... but fuck Jermaine, he's on his own."Corsi said:

Prosecutors have begun making the case to a Suffolk County grand jury that former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez should be charged in the shooting death of two men on a South End street last July, according to two law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation.
“The case against Hernandez appears to be strengthening,” one of the officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case publicly.
The proceedings are conducted behind closed doors so details of the case against Hernandez are unknown. But the very fact that the case has gone to a grand jury indicates that the investigation of the killing of two Cape Verdean immigrants is now more narrowly focused on Hernandez. Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu were shot early on July 16, 2012, in the South End when someone in a sport utility vehicle with Rhode Island license plates pulled up next to their car and began firing.
Since 1988, the federal government has taken to trial a total of 190 federal death penalty cases involving 281 defendants in 220 trials. These 281 defendants were culled from a larger pool of 492 against whom the Attorney General had authorized the government to seek the death penalty. Excluding 28 defendants who are awaiting or currently on trial on capital charges, 226 of the remaining 464 defendants avoided trial by negotiated plea, when the government dropped its request for the death penalty without a plea agreement, dismissed charges entirely or the judge barred the death penalty. Thirteen were found not guilty of the capital charge. Two others were declared innocent by the government. Charges were dismissed against a third when grave questions were raised about his guilt. There have been three executions. One death row inmate was granted clemency. In cases where juries actually reached the point of choosing between life and death, they imposed 143 (66%) life sentences and 72 (34%) death sentences.
I'm glad they spent the time to black out his birthdate.savage362 said:ESPN's link to all the documents.

Lloyd's sister took a few minutes to reply not because she was asleep but because her phone lost charge. What would help is knowing how Lloyd's sister replied back. Did she text back, "Oh shit. Please be careful," or "lol ok."
rembrat said:Semi nailed it. She replied 'Lol your aggy' to Odin's text that he was with 'NFL.' The document said this meant she was 'aggravated' by her brother's text but I'm having a hard time following. Shouldn't it be Odin's aggravated and not her since she said 'your' unless AUTOCORRECT completely shit the bed on that one.
