So the rest of the season is on-the-job training for Rafaela.
Toronto is scheduled to start left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu (3-3, 2.93 ERA) on Sunday. In six career starts against Boston, he is 2-2 with a 4.01 ERA.

Right-hander Nick Pivetta (9-9, 4.56) is Boston's scheduled starter in the series finale. He is 2-4 with a 5.57 ERA in 14 career games (12 starts) against Toronto.

Game 150
13 games left. Is that good or bad luck?
Seasons can’t be everlasting (like Tuck)
We’ll soon be declared dead (like Tom and Huck.)
Endings are sad, but it will stop the suck.
A few of our youngsters have shown some pluck,
but for months now, this year’s team has been stuck
in their losing ways. (It makes me upchuck.)
In this off-season, new deals must be struck.
Let’s shop like we’ve gone to Sears and Roebuck.
Let’s not take days off (like Broderick and Ruck.)
Let’s rebuild the team till we pack that truck.
If we believe and let dreams run amuck…
next season could end with Sox on a duck!
Till then, I’ll keep watching ‘cause I’m a schmuck.
“Lord, what fools these mortals be.” (to quote Puck.)

If the mods don't give LynnRice a poet laureate role at the end of this season, I don't know what we're even doing here.

I love it when people finish strong over the finish line irrespective of the current outcome. Honestly it says so much about you AND the strength of this fan base. Bravo. And I hope we get a poem a week next year.

Go Sox. I liked their fight yesterday.

I haven't seen that about Casas. MLB has a quote from Cora saying "we'll see"
True, I overstated based on reporters' presumptions. If he comes back, they'll only have 3-4 games remaining. Depending on what the shoulder injury is, would that be worth it?

I need Urias to step it up because I called him the Crown Jewel of the Bloom Era on the main board, and I already get made fun of constantly in the Port Cellar for comparing Payton Pritchard to Fred Van Feet

NESN had a nice feature on Reyes a few minutes ago. I do so hope the Sox keep him, but he made be seen as a nice trade piece.

Yeah, but for Sale to pitch as well as he did yesterday, you have to have an umpire calling a large zone. (edit: responding to OB on wanting Sale back)

I would appreciate some commentary from anyone able to watch the game.
My interest is mainly that of seeing Raffy Jr -- who just doubled past the 3rd base line. In his first AB he went oppo on a nice swing and was robbed. Would've been a double as well. Nice showing so far for the kid.
