Let's hear it. 72 and sunny Saturday, tee times available now.

edit: Should mention it's $51 per for 18 and that Hickory Hill is in Methuen (howyadoin)

edit 2: if ya can't make it, let's hear some other dates. Aug 8/9 would work for me

Damn weddings.  Though I challenge the other person that said they were kenneycb in the last golf thread to a good ole fashion Internet duel.

Booked 2 foursomes at 11:40 and 11:48 tentatively. Can cancel by Friday at that time if we're short on either of them

I can't find tee times anywhere else and we've got 6 confirmed including El Gatisimo and my roommate, so looks like we are on.

2 more takers? Papa OGG? Bueller?

I asked my old man if he wanted to play. He will probably fill in if needed.

Is there a range at this place I assume?

In any case, see you fools at some point Sat am. I'll probably plan on getting there 10-10:30 and grabbing some eggs and coffee and at least putting a little bit.

I saw on the website that they sell range tokens.  So I would imagine that there is a range-- otherwise that is an ingenious scam.    And, unlike Highfields, the restaurant opens at 6AM, so no need to wait for onion rings.

Ah, there it is under course rates. Of course. They also have pull carts in case one of you feel like walking for some strange reason.

Talked with a buddy who has played there a few times. Says that the front is very walkable but on the back you'd want a mountain goat to carry your bag.

I've actually never played the front 9 there, but I walk and play the back 9 pretty much every weekend. It is...good excersise. Course is pretty easy, but the terrain can be rough. Elevated tee boxes and most of the fairways head back up to the green. Not a lot of flat ground, it's pretty hilly.

I am 2 for 2 on leaving sunglasses in golf carts on the year. At least one part of my golf game is consistent!

Good times as always gentlemen. Let's do it again in August...

Maybe my best shot of the day, taken on #18 tee...

Those damn birds in 18 got in my head on my tee shot, full Twin Peaks-style freak out.

Always down for August (8th?), HH was more than solid but there's no amount of bagged bud lights that can replace a beer cart girl.

The closest to a birdie I got all day, sadly.

So looks like this weekend's out for me, next ones I'd be around for would be August 23 (Sunday) or 29 (Saturday)

This weekend isn't real good for me either and I'm out of town next weekend. The 23rd or 29th would work as far as I know. I'd prefer the Sat so I can recover lounge around on Sunday. I'm old. But whatever works for the masses.

Has anyone played at Lake Kezar Country Club in ME? I'm going to be up in that neck of the woods next week and am thinking about taking my sticks.

I'm getting the itch again. No, not that itch. The penicillin cleared that up nicely thank you.

Sept 5/6 is labor day weekend

Will be in foggy Londontown for those weekends, alas... Sept 19 Sept 26?

edit: also may be best to just have one without me :fonz:
