Wow, WATER! I did NOT see this coming after Whitlock went out and Ort orted. Great job to hang in there and get a big win.

Not exactly how I imagined it but we’ll take it. How are we supposed to feel about this team again?

On his way back to the clubhouse someone redirected Verdugo to (presumably) a NESN post-game interview, and he looked kinda surprised and said something, and all I could lip-read was “five for five.”

Wonder if he was asking why NESN doesn’t want to interview Duran.

It REALY feels like we stole this one. If the Jays can't beat us today.....
Reverse Lock game….Yoshida out against Gausman, Whitlock out after 1 inning, and the bottom of the order doing absolutely dogshit…

Had it all the way.

Can we play these guys every game?
We’re owed just for all those Frank Cat games in the past

I'm not getting excited. Just game by game is all you can do. We've been able to beat a couple teams regularly this season (Tor & NY) and looked pretty mediocre or horrible against everyone else.

How do you think the Sons of Lloyd Moseby feel.
They can’t be pleased that their team is 0-7 against the last place losers owned by cheapskate John Henry and run by the most inept GM in MLB Chaim Bloom.

They probably have a longtime member who keeps complaining that Rogers Communications has lost the Toronto market to the Leafs, Raptors, and Argonauts.

Just realized that by the end of the game, Duran has a higher OPS than Turner, Verdugo, and Devers.
He is absolutely not going anywhere. So happy he's having a good season. His potential is high. I believe Casas is going to be part of the future of this team too.

If you would have told me that somebody named Joe Jacques would be closing games against a division rival in July, I’d have guessed that the team plane went down in May.
Speaking about the team plane, their Delta charter #8878 will be landing at Hanscom Field (BED) in Bedford tonight instead of Logan. Due to weather, there is a significantly long groundstop into BOS right now. Either way, it should be a cheerful flight.

1-35 South near Cameron, Missouri. Husband had spare tire but took a long time to get blown tire off and spare on. We are heading back to Texas from vacation in Minnesota.
Wow that’s a long trip!
enjoy that BBQ pit stop dinner in KC

A lot of us do! :)
At least he can fix a flat tire on the highway- it might take a while but I bet it was done faster than it would have taken for AAA to get there. Glad you're back on the road.

I suppose it didn't have to be Ort (said everyone ever), but I suspect Bichette's 1000 OPS against LHPs came up in the decision to pull Bernardino.
