B’s dominated the first half until after the PP. Post goal it was all Isles.I thought the Isles dominated most of the third TBH... there were a number of times, especially after Carlo left, that the B's simply couldn't get it out of the zone.

Will Trotz go back to Sorokin?fucking finally. maybe that'll get in Varlamov's head a little bit?
I like to win
Kelly Hrudey pointed out that Varlamov’s right pad got in front of the near post, which is a goalie no-no. It allowed him to overpursue Marchand and open up the far side juuuuuuuuuust that little bit. That feels like a series-changing low-percentage goal in OT. Thanks. (Did the Isles goalie misplay that at all?)
But Bruins' D depth (or lack of) is scary.
No. Bergeron was floating towards the middle and there were three Isles in the area.Goalie played the percentage. Get beat there? Tip your cap and move along. Was there anyone coming weak side ? It may have been a factor. If no one is weak side he could have squared up more maybe
Just showed it on USA intermission. Definitely onsidesI have no idea how he was onside there. I'm still not 100% convinced he was and am still half waiting for them to look at replays.
Exactly; this fucking guy hugs the ice with those two mattresses he wears for pads...........go high on him.Marchand went up top to pot that. I've been saying that all game, go up high on this guy, his first move is to flop down on every shot.
MARCHAND!
Both goals tonight were over his glove hand as well.Exactly; this fucking guy hugs the ice with those two mattresses he wears for pads...........go high on him.
The fact that he understood the question is surprisingAmalie Benjamin @AmalieBenjamin

Cassidy talked to Carlo, Carlo said he was feeling "pretty good." Doesn't want to rule him out until they see him in the morning
I find it hard to believe. but ...
The goalie probably pushed to the post a little too soon, but that was a ridiculous shot by Marshy.Goalie played the percentage. Get beat there? Tip your cap and move along. Was there anyone coming weak side ? It may have been a factor. If no one is weak side he could have squared up more maybe
over pursue is a better description, good shoutKelly Hrudey pointed out that Varlamov’s right pad got in front of the near post, which is a goalie no-no. It allowed him to overpursue Marchand and open up the far side juuuuuuuuuust that little bit.

Yea... have to worry about long-term damage now. Shit, he's only 24 years old.Now just worried about Carlos brain health
Varmalov was outstanding tonight. As was Rask. For the record (I know it doesn't mean shit) Varmalov was the #2 star. Rask was not one of the 3.
Would be amazing if he is not concussed but certainly not impossible. The body freaks the fuck out when it takes a bad hit and it can definitely send you to another planet for a bit.Amalie Benjamin @AmalieBenjamin

I started doing that a few months ago. It’s a game changer.I watched the entire game with the sound off and I have to say that I liked it. Don't hear play-by-play when you're at the game, so who says you need it at home?
Feels like adding the years back to my life that have been taken away by games of years past.I started doing that a few months ago. It’s a game changer.
It really is. Very zen-like. I don't know what the announcers could have told me that I didn't see with my own eyes (or figure out on my own after a few seconds) -- never had to turn the sound on.I started doing that a few months ago. It’s a game changer.
Agreed. Excellent adrenaline management practice.I started doing that a few months ago. It’s a game changer.
exactly where I’m at, I need the crowd.I like hearing the ups and downs of the crowd. I’m ambivalent about announcers and don’t assume they hate the Bruins but they’re more background noise if anything.
Pierre certainly does. His description of both Marchand and pasta’s penalties bore no resemblance to what they actually were on replay.I like hearing the ups and downs of the crowd. I’m ambivalent about announcers and don’t assume they hate the Bruins but they’re more background noise if anything.
The Pasta one he pointed out that Pasta slashed him. He was excited because there was a lot of action going on in front of him. A second after mentioning it, Pasta was called for a penalty. I don’t have precise memory but his reaction to the replay didn’t seem over the top. He did his job superbly IMO. I don’t see any legitimate rationale as to why Pierre, after being a professional broadcaster for however many years, would actively dislike the Bruins.Pierre certainly does. His description of both Marchand and pasta’s penalties bore no resemblance to what they actually were on replay.
he described as if they were horrendous affronts to the game. The pasta description was particularly egregious tohow little it reflected what happened.
I've always thought that Pierre has been generally complimentary of the Bruins. I never really see the hatePierre certainly does. His description of both Marchand and pasta’s penalties bore no resemblance to what they actually were on replay.

Yeah--I don't even know if that's a softie. How the fuck do you expect him to hit under the crossbar far post from there? I was watching from a distance and I assumed it just beat goalie short side and was like "I'll take it" but that? That was a laser.I’m watching this in slow mo and I still don’t believe he hit that angle.
