So Devers has to be coming stateside when GCL starts up doesn't he? He clearly doesn't belong in the DSL.

Wow, Carson Blair has had one of the best 2 week stretches of offense anyone could possibly have.  He's a 24 year old in his 3rd year at high - A Salem and has mostly failed to hit at any level until his 2nd round at Salem last year, so it's probably meaningless, but he's a catcher, so you never know.

Rafael Devers is overshadowing a nice start for 17-year-old, Venezuelan, Luis Alexander Basabe (8/28/1998), who has put up a .298 / .481 / .541 line in the early going, along with 6 stolen bases against 0 caught stealing.  It'll be interesting to see if he comes States' side as well.

Piecing together the scant info from the two teams' feeds (a measly 4 tweets combined):

* The game was scheduled for 5 innings.
* Dioscar Romero started for Lowell.
* Nashua loaded the bases against him with no outs in the top of the 1st, then scored on a wild pitch.
* Lowell got out of the jam after that (No idea if it was Romero alone or with relief help).
* Lowell was leading 2-1 after 2.5 innings.

For the young season:  .442/.519/.814/1.333 with 1 dbl, 3 trp, 3 HR in 54 PA
The DSL is also a low offense environment. An OPS over .800 has been pretty rare there, at least for our players. So, SSS and everything, but 1.333 is pretty sick.
