Why do they keep definitively blaming the MFY error? The next guy walked anyway which would have gotten him to 2nd.

You see, the Yankees totally deserved to win that game where they got 3 hits, one of which hit second base and drove in their only runs.

He has no appreciable difference in results in tie games over his career. Or last season. And he's only been in 5 tie games this year with mixed results.
If you want to save a good pitcher for a save opportunity that may never come while lesser pitchers pitch with the game on the line, based on a handful of games, have at it. I hope Cora doesn't see it the same way too often.
