Copying Jon's post here since there's a lot of roster action

Huh:

Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:

• Recalled RHP Jhony Brito from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
• Placed INF Josh Donaldson on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to 4/6) with a right hamstring strain.
• Placed RHP Jonathan Loáisiga on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to 4/6) with right elbow inflammation.
• Signed OF Willie Calhoun to a Major League contract and selected him to active roster.
• Transferred RHP Tommy Kahnle to the 60-day injured list.

There is a big opportunity here for Brito, if he is effective again, he will almost certainly vault Schmidt as NY's current number 4 and then Schmidt would be the first one optioned down when Rodon or Severino is back (both throwing bullpens now).

I’ll be in attendance at the game tonight, I’m kinda excited to see how fast the game moves when you are in the stadium.
Nice! With a lefty going for BAL, good chance you get Hicks in the lineup, so when he resuscitates his career starting tonight, you can take full credit.

DJ scores on Judge’s fly to medium center. Close play at plate. DJ slides around tag. He is running well.

The way salaries are rising, Stanton is almost underpaid, especially if you just count what the Yanks are paying him ($29M).

Brito fans Rutschman to end fifth on this pitch sequence: 79 mph curve, 87 change, 88 change. He hits 95 with his fast ball so that’s 16 mph difference from heat to slow curve.

$22M AAV! He is also a solid OF when they actually let him play.

Biggest AB of the game so far was Gleyber's incredible 12 pitch AB to get the offense going, that really took a lot out of Irvin with this new sped up tempo.

Gleyber of course has been incredible so far but he was projected as a 4 WAR player, Brito was actually optioned down to minor league camp before Rodon and Severino couldn't go, and again to AAA in between his first two starts (not sure if he actually went, he did not pitch there). He has been NY's savior through 7+ games, he didn't even have his best stuff tonight but he does not give in.

He fields his position, too. Made a real athletic play on a chopper towards first base.

Also Higgy started both of Brito’s games, two of his three games so far. Good job Higgy!

Volpe snags a liner for second out in ninth. He should feel good about tonight. And build on it.

Good win.

2 hours, 47 minutes. Not especially fast but an hour shorter than most Yankee games in Baltimore.

His change is incredible, those two above were almost identical pitches back to back and Rutschman was nowhere near either.

Yeah it definitely moved quickly, not a lot of non-action on the field, which was really nice. It was a little cold at the stadium for sure.

But once again, shout-out to the Orioles and Camden Yards for having free tickets for kids in the upper deck. Saves me $120 bucks.

Too bad Abreu let in Nestor’s runs, but he did seem out of gas.

Cordero gave up a HR and almost a second but his stuff is absurd. He threw one pitch that broke down so much I thought it was a change, then I saw it was 99.

Also YES credited Franchy’s HR to Jimmy, I need to find a pic.

I like that Jimmy only needed 13 pitches to get 3 outs. He threw 11 strikes. I thought he would be more of a wild man. Jimmy did good.
