Just copied this of the game log on premierleague.com:

Comes down to people not doing their jobs. That's partially on the club for assembling a very high priced island of misfit toys, partially on the players, but mostly on the manager.

Andy is Andros' dad, btw.
Not Andy Townsend of Aston Villa And Republic of Ireland Fame? Cos he also has a successful broadcasting career over here as a pundit and co comentator.

I feel bad for calling Chelsea a Waitrose Everton, that was unfair to Everton. Chelsea are a Farmfoods Everton in a time of hyper inflation. Obscure but fairer comparison IMO.

It’s hard to envision why Frank should manage the second half, to say nothing of the balance of the season.
Agreed. Furthermore if he has pride, he can rip up his contract and walk. He's got a wife and kids and golf clubs, he doesn't need this and Chelsea don't need him. I mean what is he meant to say at half time?

Chelsea have been terrible but Arsenal have been very good with a refreshed lineup that includes Kiwior, Jorginho, Trossard.

I'm not sure it makes a difference in the end given City's robotic annihilation of everything in their path but Arteta really stuck with his preferred XI way too long over the last month when it was blatantly obvious that he needed to change something to give the side a different look and present opponents with a different set of problems.

Kiwior should play every match for the rest of the season. Chelsea aren't testing him much defensively but his ability on the ball compared to Holding makes a big difference.

Chelsea's last 3 games are against Man City, Man United, and Newcastle.

If Frank had been brought in a little sooner, their game against Forest on 5/13 could have been a 6 pointer in the relegation battle.

I didn’t see the game but I’m with you 100% on Arteta, especially re: starting Trossard.

Holding is such a great name for a defender.

The same. He was on a very entertaining Guardian podcast some time back.

Looks like Bellingham is close to Real Madrid
It burns to say it but they've really been making some good decisions the last few years. Having him in to replace Modric/Kroos (maybe keep one to help mentor young Mr. Bellingham in the ways of Madrid) would be brilliant for them.

Some nice hustle from Darwin draws a penalty that Salah converts.

That's 2 straight pens that Salah put in high down the middle after missing a couple recently.

Hard not to see Leeds going. BBC/Guardian comment sections are at the moment an amusing blend of Leeds, Leicester, Everton and Forest fans trying to convince each other that their own teams are even worse than the next guy's.

I’m brutally honest about Evertons flaws but every time I see these others I get taken aback at how bad they are.

Of the four, Forest has the most upside because they have players that can score and they’ve got a great home crowd that can lift them. They can bust two or three goals out of nowhere. They are chaotic and undisciplined which is why they are where they are.

Leeds should have players that can score but they aren’t scoring. They have never defended so forget that. A side that was built to be the Air Coryell Chargers and Sam is going to try to retool them into the 86 Bears in two weeks? Not going to work. Especially not with Meslier, he’s been awful.

Leicester really don’t give a fuck. It’s shocking. If not for that keeper busting out 3 desperate saves they get beat handily even with Evertons individual errors.

With Dom back, I think Everton have a shot. The whole side just runs better with a target man up top. The fixtures are tough but no excuse.

Bellingham is a total stud, but I doubt he goes to Madrid. EPL clubs are just going to value him so much more due to his being English, that I just don't see it.

When it comes to these games, Jose is the undisputed goat
I hate the guy but yeah, he's real good at this.

In Italy's Serie A, Napoli just drew with Udinese 1-1 to win their 1st title since 1990! Many years of close-yet-far has finally been conquered.

I dunno who i like more (at Liverpool), Caicedo or MacAllister. I thought Caicedo was a monster tonight, playing most of the match at right back, you'd never know that wasn't his natural position.
MacAllister is a really classy player. Always shows for the ball, great at pens, good engine, looks Scottish...I love him.

I remember googling Mac a couple of years ago to see if he had Scottish parents or grandparents. Rumor is that if Mac leaves Brighton, they may go after Hatate. Just a rumor.
