Duffy & Penrod track with my research.

The Worcester doubleheader should be Fitts & Gambrell.

& Greenville should be Perales if healthy or Adams if he's not.

Duffman has allowed 1 hit in 4 scoreless innings, 5 strikeouts, only 40 pitches.

Fitts... has not done those things.

No Nazzan for Salem today, but Daniel McElveny is making his season debut & Freili Encarnacion is making his A-Ball debut.

Still no Garcia bros.

Jhostynxon left the game early on April 19th & hasn't been back in the lineup.

Johanfran left the game early on April 20th & hasn't been back in the lineup.

Stanley Tucker also hasn't played since April 14th.

Salem scored 2 in the top of the 5th on an Albert Feliz double, & allowed 1 in the bottom of the 5th on a solo homer.

WooSox lost game one 5-3.

Meidroth was 3-4.

Sogard was 2-3 with a double & a walk.

Hickey was 1-3 with a double & a walk.

Alvarez & McDonough were 1-3.

Duffy ended up at 56 pitches, 43 strikes (76.8).

CJ Weins came in for the 6th & so far has gone single/walk/walk/single. Not a big Weins guy so far (despite Big Weins being a decent nickname).

Weins ended up escaping only allowing 1 more run, but 2 runs in 1 inning not great.

Francis Hernandez pitched 2 innings without allowing a hit or walk, but allowed a run on a dropped pop up (by him with an 'assist' from Feliz), steal, wild pitch & sac fly.

Salem lost 4-3.

Bleis was 1-2 with a walk before coming out. I will be concerned until he's in the lineup tomorrow. No one seems to know anything.

Albert Feliz was 1-2 with a double, a sac fly & all 3 RBI.

Daniel McElveny was 1-2 with a walk.

Freili & Kelvin Diaz were each 1-3 with a caught stealing.

... but then he allowed 4 runs, 3 earned & didn't make it out of the 3rd. Wyatt Olds came in to get the last out.

Bryce Bonnin Ribeye made his season debut & pitched a 1-2-3 6th with a strikeout.

Nathan Landry pitched a scoreless 7th. Greenville is down 3-2.

Top of the order is up in the 6th for Portland.

Roman singled, but Mayer struck out & Teel flew out.

Wyatt Olds pitched 2.1 scoreless, hitless innings... he did allow 2 walks, hit a guy, & pick up a pitch timer violation, but YOLO. Also 5 k's.

Landry also pitched a scoreless 8th before running into some trouble in the 9th & leaving with 2nd & 3rd & 1 out. Caleb Bolden allowed both inherited runners to score, putting Greenville down 5-2 headed to the bottom of the 9th.

Bryan Gonzalez was 2-4 with a double & a steal.

Allan Castro was 2-5 with the game winning double.

In his return Kristian Campbell was 0-3 with 2 walks & the game winning run.

Cutter Coffey was 1-3 with a walk & a sac fly.

Miguel Ugueto was 1-3 with a walk.

Jacob Webb & Felix Cepeda each pitched 2 scoreless innings, each allowed 2 hits & 0 bb, & each struck out 2.

Portland won 7-4.

That Mayer home run came on a pretty decent low and outside breaking pitch, too. It's encouraging because isn't that the profile of pitch that all the sites worrying about his "stiff front side" though he might have trouble with?
