I've never understood this stupid concept of forcing up a terrible shot just to get a 2 for 1Hate the 2 for 1 if you're going to force it. Look for a good opportunity and take what they give you? Sure.
Well, he had 3 guys on him, lots of guys were open for a quick kick outWhy on God’s green earth would you have Grant take the last shot? He shouldn’t even be in the closing line-up.
Most likely R1 opponent is Miami so that’s fun!I was so confident this team was going to be in the Finals a month ago. I don't know if they're making it out of the first round now. I dunno. I'm really hoping I'm wrong.
Yup, without Williams they could go out very early. Horrible rebounding and interior defense.I was so confident this team was going to be in the Finals a month ago. I don't know if they're making it out of the first round now. I dunno. I'm really hoping I'm wrong.
I can't wait to be sweating bullets for two weeks. It'll be fun as hell. Most likely R1 opponent is Miami so that’s fun!
Funny how the fabled late season slog seems not to be bothering the Bucks and Sixers who have both racked up long win streaks.Being the 3 seed is wild. What a fall.
I think the plan was Brogdon sat yesterday, Smart sat today, and White played both days, but with managed minutes.White is one of their 3 best players yet plays only 25 minutes. Either he is hurt or Joe is braindead.
The thing is that they were absolutely pantsing everyone for months. And then it was like there was a wall they hit and can't do that anymore. We can't blame the last month on CJM and then also praise them for how awesome they were the rest of the year.Team isn't prepared close and late. Team continually loses to teams with less talent. I 100% believe this is a coaching issue.
They got 2 for 1 at the half for the first time ever and got too excited.I know then where going for a 2 for 1 but the 3 Tatum jacked up was ridiculous. Why not just get better look and make the jazz make another play on the other end
Worth noting most of the pantsing came with TL on the shelf just like he is now. It’s a different team for whatever reason. The thing is that they were absolutely pantsing everyone for months. I mean that's kind of the whole thing. If Tatum doesn't score for a half they aren't going to win most games.Tatum was scoreless in the 2nd half, nothing else really matters if he can't get unfucked soon.
Excellent point. I'm not sure what the difference is other than them saving bullets for the playoffs or they're just toying with opponents? Can't blame this on Rob being hurt. It's just them playing poorly (or really, Tatum shooting 4/12 and 0 points in the second half).Worth noting most of the pantsing came with TL on the shelf just like he is now. I think Tatum is great but this has become a common theme, especially late in games. His close and late numbers have to be crashing.Tatum just disappoints again.
I would be curious to see ball movement stats. Eye test says they aren’t working for the best shots they way they were early in the season.Excellent point. I'm not sure what the difference is other than them saving bullets for the playoffs?
I will love Grant forever for his G7 Milwaukee 3-point performance but I'll drive him to the airport at this point if he's thinking he's the guy to make a play and dribble into double/triple coverage.View: https://twitter.com/ByJayKing/status/1637296295286280192
Joe Mazzulla said the final possession was a DHO for Jayson Tatum. Based on the way the Jazz defended it, Grant Williams tried to make a play.
Same fucking thing every time. Tatum has been ass since the ASB (including a blown game tying layup in Houston), run a play for Jaylen for god’s sake.View: https://twitter.com/ByJayKing/status/1637296295286280192
