i just tried it.... he went #6PFN must be broken because I just ran 3 more in a row and took Bowers at 34 each time.

I don't recall what the board looked like at that point, but I share your disappointment.I'd be disappointed with Walker at 71.
Yeah the runs are funny, and it's possible that we'll see WRs vault up the real board and other positions fall. I'm hyper focused on outside guys with that first WR pick, since IMO Xs make everyone look better. Walker has all of the measurables, but he reeks of N'Keal 2.0 to me. Can't run routes, can't get off press coverage, doesn't fight for balls. I like Roman Wilson around there, but it seems that the word is out on him now and he might not be available in the 3rd.I don't recall what the board looked like at that point, but I share your disappointment.
Edit: IIRC, I missed a WR run and was after Melton, the CB from Rutgers.
Edit 2: Walker has been going mid third round and higher on the PFN mock draft engine.
Ugh, Kool-Aid at 3 would be a tough swallow. How about Rome Udunze instead? That's kind of a cool name.Cool names only:
3. Kool-Aid McKinstry - DB, Alabama
34. Chop Robinson - EDGE, Penn State
68. Michael Penix Jr. - QB, Washington
103. Moose Muhammad III - WR, Texas A&M
139. Tonka Hemingway - DT, South Carolina
182. Storm Duck - DB, Louisville
224. Ulysses Bentley IV - RB, Ole Miss
232. Ty Cobb - OL, Bemidji State
Also considered: Jo'quavious Marks, Rivaldo Fairweather, Delmar Glaze
3 to 24 with no future #1s?View attachment 77557
3 of the 4 picks are the lines along with 5 skill position players. Also picked up two 2025 second rounders in the process with one likely to be from a bad team.
Multiple move downs in round one. Picking up multiple picks which I used to move all around the board.3 to 24 with no future #1s?
It's a path, but if we move off a top 5 pick and don't pick til mid-20s and don't get a future #1 I'd be really shocked.Multiple move downs in round one. Picking up multiple picks which I used to move all around the board.
They'd probably open a new wing in Canton for the GM that pulls off that draft. And the other 31 GMs would sit in a circle and commit hari-kari.View attachment 77582
Got the QB, some OL help along with some mid round skill position guys along with a developmental QB and 6 2025 picks including 2 firsts and two seconds. In this scenario I’m probably signing Brissett as a bridge QB and have Daniels sit for about half the season until the OL can gel. Then in the 2025 I’m drafting impact skill guys and move around the board to do so.

I’d much prefer Daniels at 26 then Maye at 3. Much better value.Last Drake Maye @ #3 mock before I lose my mind. Focused on QB, WR, T, & Edge and tried to follow PFF rankings.

Or a placekicker in the third round…Nobody should be posting a mock draft here without at least one OT in it. Just saying.
I’m signing, or tagging Onwenu if necessary, but feel like we’re good at guard and C. That leaves LT, and you are right I’m not leaving the draft without one.Nobody should be posting a mock draft here without at least one OT in it. Just saying.
Hopefully those days are done.Or a placekicker in the third round…
Polk, Wilson, and Burton would be a really nice group of mid-round WR selections. I'd bet pretty heavily that at least one of them would pan out nicely. My J. Daniels draft.
Now I remember why I quit fantasy leagues; officially addicted.

I don't see why you wouldn't tag and attempt to resign Onwenu. He was a guard, you're tagging him at Tackle money at high dollar figure and work to extend him. I know it doesn't always go well but I haven't heard anything about Onwenu being unhappy outside of being made a tackle, which is now how he's going to hugely profit. I'm still scarred from letting Thuney walk, then using a 1st round pick a year later to replace him. Instead they used that money in 2020 & 2021, both which could have been used to extend him on people like Jonnu Smith and Nelson Agholor. For a team that values the line, this was an all-time miss that cost them for a few years.I’m signing, or tagging Onwenu if necessary, but feel like we’re good at guard and C. I almost qualified that by saying ‘unless I’ve got LT sorted in FA’, but even then I’m drafting.
I think I’m agreeing with you? To be clear I’m retaining Onwenu one way or the other to play RT, and I accept there’s premium price potential there. Still want to draft a developmental tackle on top of LT starter, even if they think they did and one of those guards is a tackle given time.I don't see why you wouldn't tag and attempt to resign Onwenu. I'm not against Strange, he's been fine, but you don't use a 1st rounder on a "fine" guard because you let your All Pro guard walk so you can spend money on crap. It's the opposite of the discussion we're having now on how a "tackle at 3 can be a 10 year player" extending Thuney for what he got was close to a sure thing, but spent it on a 2nd / 3rd WR with stone hands.

Lots of talent acquired in this mock. The line is rebuilt. Got the QB of the future. Newton and McConkey in the 2nd and 3rd rounds are a steal. Also got some nice ammo for 2025.
As much as I’d hate that draft, and any draft which results in Mac, Zappe or the veteran equivalent at QB (Lock, Rudolph, Brissett etc), Powers-Johnson would be an awesome get. He had a phenomenal year and was reportedly the best player at the senior bowl. Not as high priority as other positions but he has the potential to anchor an interior line for the next 7+ years.View attachment 77636
This is a Greg Bedard type draft.
Dumb because they need an OT. (Brady will get killed, if he even starts over Mac.)I made a bunch of savvy trades on one of those sites and came up with the following draft
Round 1-Lawrence Taylor LB North Carolina
Round 2-Jim Brown-RB-Syracuse
Round 3-John Hanaah OG-Alabama
Round 4-Randy Moss-WR-Marshall
Round 5-Dick Butkus-ILB-Illinois
Round 6-Thomas Brady-QB-Michigan
Round 7-Jerry Rice-WR-Delta State
I also acquired the 1st round pick of every team in the NFL for the next four years.
Its gonna be a quick rebuild
Fun to try different things. Trade back at every reasonable opportunity. No trades at all. Take highest ranked on board. And on and on.
