ManU has mostly been a clown cart since Sir Alex retired; but there are still world class players in the squad. It's an upset, but let's not go nuts on the size of it. It's still a club with high expectations. The players and staff were not going to be happy to just reach the final.
This is why I have to believe Ten Hag's proclamation that he will win elsewhere if he is fired will fall on deaf ears. The bottom line is they finished in 8th with a negative differential. A great cup run will not save him. The standards, and cash spent on the squad, are still high. The hard question is who can they line up.
