The Stony Brook Seawolves took down defending national champion LSU 5-2 this afternoon. Just an incredible win. A sophomore and a freshman combined for all 9 innings pitched and only gave up 1 ER.

Hagen Smith with another awesome start. 6 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs, 0 BB, 10 K. On the year, he's only given up 6 runs in 35 IP with 72 K's to 10 walks. Hitters are batting .136 against him. Their staff as a whole is ridiculously good. Brady Tygart is 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA in 28.1 IP. His stats are on par with Hagen Smith but with 1 less start. Mason Molina brings up the "rear" on the weekend rotation. 3-0 with a 2.57 ERA(47 K's and .133 BAA).

I am so unhappy with the Longhorn baseball program. David Pierce has taken the greatest program in NCAA history and is running it into the ground. I can’t imagine he lasts another year after this debacle of a season. What a disaster.
