Excited to see Pop Douglas and the rest of the rooks. May just be standard August optimism but camp news makes it sound like this was a hell of a draft class

There was some speculation today that Zappe wouldn't play and thank god he will because I want to see the rookie receivers at least have a chance.
This is the least I’ve paid attention to Pats pre-season in my entire life since before I was old enough to be a fan. Life gets busy.

Actually I got it wrong, I had just turned 27 in 1999. I always forget BB was coach in 2000, that season seems like it kind of never happened.

I was kind of hoping they'd break out the gray pants, but I guess they're not doing that in a preseason game.
They need a sky judge with the power to review and overturn those calls. Because if a defender makes every effort to avoid contact and still draws a fou fpr brushing any part of a QB, just put flags on them or make it two hand touch on them if they're in the pocket.
