Wake me when it's over. Bs first pick is at 92. Hope they get someone who's played hockey at any level at that position.
Just because I'm not particularly interested in the draft? No.
Just saying that it's hard to get enthused when it's unlikely that the Bs will select anyone who has more than a cup of coffee (if that) in the NHL (with the Bs or elsewhere).

Will Smith goes to San Jose at No. 4. Going to BC next year. Basically no real surprises so far.

Arizona picks Russian LW Daniil But at 12. A bit of a reach. Really both picks were reaches for high upside Russian players. This kid is really big 6’ 5” 220.

Buffalo takes LW Zach Benson from Winnipeg (WHL) at 13. 5’ 9” with a lot of offensive skill. Had 98 points in 60 games in juniors.

6’ 3” Trencin Slovakia native LW Samuel Honzek goes 16 to Calgary. Currently playing for the Vancouver Giants. They grow them big out there.

Chicago takes center Oliver Moore from the USNTDP at 19. Great skater. Heading to Minnesota for next year.
Eduardo Sale goes to Seattle at 20. The LW was pretty noticeable in the WJC. Hopefully he can stay healthy given his name.
Philly takes Radek’s kid Oliver Bonk at 22. The younger Bonk is a defenseman currently playing for the London Knights. It’s been 29 years since his dad was drafted 3rd overall by Ottawa, which again makes me feel really old.

Rangers take Gabriel Perreault at 23. RW with high offense potential. Yanic’s son. Another high pick headed to BC in the fall. They’re going to be loaded.
