Doesn't BB hate 5th rounders and get rid of them like rotten potatoes?
Not really recently :
McGrone, Rohrwasser, Bentley, Cowart, Bailey in the last 5 drafts

Only Cardona in the 5 before that though

Edit- 5 before that was Cannon, Mesko, Bussey, Slater, Oldenberg.
going way back Koppen was a 5th.

In the 23 BB years, picks by round (not including this year):

1st - 20
2nd - 29
3rd - 29
4th - 31
5th - 19
6th - 38
7th - 37

Which QB do they take tomorrow?
QB by year...

'00 Brady 6/199
'02 Davey 4/117
'03 Kingsbury 6/201
'05 Cassel 7/230
'08 O'Connell 3/94
'10 Robinson 7/250
'11 Mallett 3/74
'14 Garoppolo 2/62
'16 Brissett 3/91
'18 Etling 7/219
'19 Stidham 4/133
'21 Jones 1/15
'22 Zappe 4/137

So they've taken QBs in back-to-back years 3 times before, but never 4 in a row.

So I'll say Jake Haener.

Summary:
13 in 23 years

1st 1
2nd 1
3rd 3
4th 3
5th 0
6th 2
7th 3

It’s kind of amazing that five of those guys have turned out to be starting QBs.

Games started...

Brady 333
Cassel 81
Jimmy G 57
Brissett 48
Mac 31
Mallett 8
Zappe 2
Stidham 2
So each team has played 370 games in this 23 years I think (23 x 16 + 2) & Pats draftees have started 562 games.

I’m
What’s the story with Kelee Ringo? Medical/other flags?
yes but also despite being super fast he’s not a particularly quick player, doesn’t move well laterally doesn’t stop or slow down quickly etc-which kills toy at corner obviously

For some reason I couldn't clip those RAS pics last night. Kuntz is worth re-posting, that 3 cone at 6'7 255 is absurd.

Saldiveri for the Saints. Interesting pick, he was a developmental tackle i could have seen the Patriots taking in this round.

Huh, position isn't a total surprise, they need another IOL who can play center, thought they'd get it later and didn't have Andrews as the guy.

Definitely think they wanted one of the OTs who went there.
