Tyler Herro dealing out an unnecessarily crunching uncalled foul to Kyle Lowry is like that "the worst person you know just made a great point" meme / article.

Once we get down to 16 teams, maybe we can do a separate thread for each series? The main reason I ask is if I’m behind watching, then I can safely talk about the early games without getting spoiled on the later ones.
I'd like that. There are a lot of really good series, good for them not to get lost.

The Sixers just don't have enough answers in terms of getting the ball to the weak side and attacking. Miami can overload on to Embiid like crazy and then recover, with no consequences.

You don’t think Buddy Hield is the answer? Neither does nurse apparently

This isn't just the Heat's zone. It's about overloading to Embiid all the time. Really clear blueprint.

Haha, yeah. He's just not good at attacking in space and exploiting the advantage. Sixers look totally lost at creating and executing the 2-on-1s Miami is conceding.

Philly. Embiid looks hobbled but in theory I could see them giving the Celtics more trouble than Miami. Plus I want them to get the opportunity to curb stomp Miami.
Philly just scored 39 points in the first half.. against that same Miami team.. Do we really think the Celtics are going to have more trouble playing D against Philly than Miami has?

Yeah. I have a horrible time trying to root for the Heat, even though the Sixers are in my mind the C's #1 rival. And Philly poses obvious challenges. That being said, I'm totally OK with shipping this Heat shit off to NY and dealing with Philly.

So how was he putting up 30 in the last regular season games? Lousy teams (except for Orlando)?
Guy can still shoot and still gets a good amount of FTs... he's looked like an absolute station on defense since he's come back.. and he's landed awkwardly on his bad knee a few times.

Amen.. let NY and Miami have a rock fight. I don't want to see Miami until the ECF if at all.

edit: I'm also not rooting for Miami in any way, just rooting for not having to play them for a while. The games with the heat are miserable to watch even when the Celtics are regularly beating them.

If Philly somehow wins this game, there's going to be a lot of film on this Heat zone. It's not uncrackable: they're relying on Philly's guys in the corners being really undynamic, and the above-the-break guys being bad too.

Batum, Harris and Oubré have been the biggest offenders.

Buddy Hield, Kyle Lowry, Nic Batum and Tsunami Papi are 4 of the Sixers top 7…..would any of them make the Celtics top 8?

Yeah I’m not sure how you play that defense v BOS, they’ll murder you with corner threes.

If Lowry was a Celtic I'd stop being a Celtics fan for a while.
Id have to boo him specifically. There are very few players that I legitimately can’t root for and he’s one of them (Draymond, Pat Bev, Kyrie the others)

Batum is a really interesting connective role player.

so he might be in top 8 occasionally?
