And Nadal finally finishes off the game on break point #7. Epic. Now he needs to hold here or it's kind all for naught.

Wow great hold by Nadal in the eighth game. Medvedev suddenly had all the momentum and Rafa almost gave the game away with three bad misses but somehow held on.

Nadal climbs out of a 15-40 hole to go up 5-3. Not the best tennis at this point, but doesn’t get much more compelling or fun.
Not sure what match you’re watching, these guys are throwing haymakers almost every point.

The match where Nadal went down 15-40 on his last service game with three brutal/exhausted unforced errors. And where med is bailing out of points left and right via drop shots. This is what happens at the four hour mark of a final...it’s like rocky vs drago - ugly form with large (to steal your word) haymakers mixed in. I love it.

4:52 is the longest match this tournament, looks like this will pass that.

These guys have both retrieved so many should-be-winners that they have each other making some terrible choices of where to hit, not going for the easy open court. It's a fascinating match.

That game was the first time I felt like Nadal was going to win. Three service winners for Med and he still couldn’t hold.

My heart rate is about the same as it was when I coached in conference championship matches (this sounds like a humblebrag, it isn’t. relatively low level d3).
I just want this for Nadal so badly

Is Med cramping, or is the trainer break the tennis equivalent of icing the kicker?

And my dog has been staring at me like this for 15 minutes, pleading to go play in the snow. Finish it Rafa, for her
