Of course the last play was going to be Butler taking another 3 if he'd got it off in time

Luka getting a bit of a "This is the NBA playoffs" education there, doesn't get the call, runs across to the ref to complain, while LAC get a key bucket. Brutally bad decision by him

Please just let the clipps lose in the 1st round. I hate watching this half assed team

Pressure is now going to be on the Clippers big-time. I picked the series Clippers in 7 but was tempted to go Mavs. I kinda wish I'd had the balls to go with my instinct (Dallas has been really good last half of the season).

Is Luka the best player in the NBA? Who is doing more with less talent around him?

So is the consensus that it's a player problem not a coach problem now?
I know they dumped Doc, but I don't think he was blamed -- George and Harrell seemed to get the large share of that burden (and Doc for overplaying Harrell). But you're right that, if they don't come through this post-season, that'll be consensus.

Lots of pressure on Kawhi and PG.

Why cant it be both? Doc was a perpetual underperformed in a sport where you need the coach at base level to not work against the team.

PG is toast. Depression last year and starting the playoffs like this. It's going to be hard to bounce back.

The larger issue is for the last 2 months Kawhi has been ass. Just avg af. Not a true #1 option.

Theyre toast. Mavs in 4 or 5.

Portland and Denver is fun because both teams are flying and shooting well, unlike every other game today which has been a slog.

Isn’t that the very definition of being blamed?
lol...well, i guess it is, yes -- you're right. :) But I think the old saw is that "you can't fire the players so....". I guess my only point is that I saw a ton of criticism of Paul George (and Harrell), but not a lot directed at Doc beyond him sticking with Harrell too much in that last playoff series. And Doc got hired seemingly hours after he was dumped by L.A. (and reportedly had multiple options), so not like his rep took some sort of huge hit.

I don't recall seeing that 10 second call in a long long time
Me either. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen that at any level. I went back and timed the sequence from the point at which he caught the toss from the official. Definitely more than 10 seconds, more like 11.

I still love Marv.

After Alex Len misses badly on a wild running hook shot......”Len, very ACTIVE on the offensive end.”

This is when I’d love to be on color next to him to respond, “Len is going to be very INACTIVE on the bench if he keeps taking shots like that.”

If not for the chyron, I wouldn't know the teams in the 6ers vs Wizards game. Wizards wearing Philly's colors and 6ers wearing the new Clippers uni.

I’d love to see Washington win this game, but I love seeing Joel and Simmons play like ass regardless of outcome

That's the sort of biting commentary that will be sorely missed.

at the risk of sounding like an old man, even though I like the uni variations, it has sorta gone too far. Yesterday those yellow Miami Heat uniforms made them look like the Lakers -- which is just weird.

What’s wrong with sounding like an old man?

Let’s fucking go Suns. Knocking of LA would be incredibly sweet, I would love if they can get it done

We are about to see who the REAL MVP was this season.

Paul looks done and the players down on the floor know it.

17-0 FTA. I wonder what the largest differential is over the course of a series

Have to say, if you told me the Lakers were +17 on FTA it would have taken me a very long time to guess that none of them were Lebron and the vast majority were Schroeder and Trezz.

This Suns team is fun. The NBA better not fuck this up and push LeBron through on the back of a favorable whistle.

Going to spend all offseason wondering how much better this season would’ve been for the Celtics with CP3 instead of Kemba.
