Actually, probably the only other time I made the joke was the opening game the next season, when the Rams won in OT by stopping Lynch on 4th and 1.

He said that the first game of the year when they looked awesome. Very mixed results since then unfortunately. It's always a dogfight.
I hate to stay with the Patriots receivers suck theme, but I saw more great catches this weekend than I saw all year watching our boys.
And come on, the greatest play in NFL history was Mike Jones tackling Dyson at the 1 on the last play of Super Bowl XXXIV. That's the Rams' only Super Bowl title. The Butler play isn't even the favorite Super Bowl of Pats fans. The guy that really needs pity is any Falcons fan that posts here.
Absolutely. The good news is that the Patriots can restock now that their season is completely and totally over.
They have spurts but lots of frustration too. A couple of games have come down to goal-line stands when they should not have.
Wilson deserves the full amount of his contract. You could make a case for him being the best QB in the NFL at the moment.

Actually, not even sure it's close. Mahomes has a lot more help in coaching and on offense. Wilson is making a mediocre Seattle team a Super Bowl threat.
I think he is. If I had to select any NFL QB to engineer a winning drive right now, its him and its not close for me.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that on pretty much every one yard Lynch TD run in the last 5 years, either for the Seahawks or the Raiders, upwards of 10,000 people who aren’t even Patriots fans have simultaneously uttered the same general joke and many times that have thought it.

Injuries piling up. Seattle has the momentum. If GB doesn't score on their next drive, they will lose. Rodgers had a chance to put this away and Jones got crushed on 2nd and 2 and then the 3rd down play had no chance. You gotta put Russ away.
Losing Preston Smith hurts GB and helps SEA, the timeout is whatever by comparison.
