Russ has take a few of those this year unfortunately. The NFL doesnt seem to want to call it for some reason
It’s weird he doesn’t get the love Mahomes and Jackson does. He’s been doing it longer and never got the push they have now. Seems like a really, really good guy too.
if the 49ers lose the division they're one of the most talented 5 seeds ever... and they should have taken the tie against Seattle last time and this game would have been meaningless.
He's a solid solid dude based on my experience meeting him in Brazil. Just loves the game, his family and his fans.
Is that ball invisible? Two different 49ers looked like they could at least get a hand on it. Throw a laser and it gets through untouched.

It is fairly shocking that RW was the next big QB a few years back, has continued to be solid, yet got lapped in the news cycle by Lamar / Mahomes and for a bit Watson. Yet he is the only one to win anything. West coast drawback?

I assume so because he has been nothing short of the singular reason the Seahawks have been successful after that second super bowl. He was looked at as a game manager early in his career but I can only assume is a lack of coverage that has kept him off the national radar in the same way Lamar or Mahomes have been on it. He isnt as flashy as either of those two which definitely is a drawback for the NFL to sell

Right, despite being top 5-7 QB, he doesn't have the legacy of Brees / Rodgers / TB or the flash of Mahomes / Jackson. OR even being JG the TB heir!. Hell I think Daniel Jones got more ink about him this year just because he is in NY. The oft adage of 'criminally underrated' seems to apply.
When you say flashy, do you mean personality wise? Because he can run and throw the deep ball as well as either of them. And even in terms of personality, Mahomes is kinda awkward and weird voiced and Jackson seems pretty stiff and humble. Russell’s married to one of the most beautiful pop stars in the world. The whole thing is odd.
