Curry makes shots that 99.99% of the planet would never attempt in a competitive basketball game. That floater-bank was a lefthanded shot too. Even if it wasn't, it is still sick.
Agreed. Lethal in the cornerLandry Shamet. That kid can shoot. He's shooting .404 from 3 now on the season, and .464 over his last 11 games on 5.1 attempts per game. No idea if he can play defense, but he scares me as a shooter for them.
Amazing. I just checked and the stat is correct. With this loss, the Dubs are 9-13 in games that Klay doesn't play, since he joined the starting lineup in 2012-13.
Philly’s bench shot 12-for-21 and outscored Dubs’ bench, 31-16.Butler and Embiid combined to go 11/36 from the floor and 0/11 from 3, and Embiid had 8 turnovers, and they still won the game. That's crazy.
You can make huge cases for Gobert, DeRozan, or Tobias over Klay and even KAT.Rudy Gobert not making the All-Star reserves is a tragedy. He shouldn't have to get Oladipo's spot. He's leading the league in FG percentage and averaging 15-13 and is second in the league in blocks. He has an offensive rating of 132 and a defensive rating of 100. He's doing even more on defense than ever before, hedging on screens and contesting more perimeter shots. Give me him over KAT any day of the week.
You know this already but LA is a Laker town and with LeBron plus all the AD hype, the team already has new bandwagon fans.Is this supposed to be a Clippers home game? Because they blared the awful pounding distracting music when LAC had the ball, and then let them play when LAL had the ball. And unsurprisingly the crowd seems 80% Pro-LAL.
Getting traded to New Orleans? Not myself and maybe not even Danny Darwinism, this boards two primary Siakam fans coming out of college, could envision what this player has become. I'm trying to determine what would prevent him from becoming an All-Star next year and I'm drawing blanks.
Lakers fans normally buy up the LAC home game in the series because it is significantly cheaper than the overpriced laker tickets. For a lot of the hated ones, it's a more affordale option. Is this supposed to be a Clippers home game? Swedish Larry Bird (probably their best bench 3 pt shooter) was out as well. And missing Klay is obviously huge. But yeah, ugly brickfest by the Oaklanders, aided by some tough, physical D by the Sixers.Wow. Warriors 3-pt. shooting last night: Curry 10-18, everyone not named Curry 1-20. I know Thompson was out, but still ...
Conley isn't in tonight's game.
Utah has had exploratory discussions with Memphis on a potential swap headlined by Mike Conley and Ricky Rubio in advance of next week's trade deadline, according to league sources.
Conley would be a huge upgrade for Utah and puts them firmly in the conversation for second best team in the West, right?
I love this trade for the Jazz if they can swing it.

Agreed. This seems like a perfect fit to meI love this trade for the Jazz if they can swing it.
Rubio is an expiring contract and holds no value on the court to Memphis. Even if he was injured it would have no bearing on the trade......plus the Jazz are playing to win games so it doesn't make any sense for Rubio not to play.Rubio is.
Denver is good and deep - Craig, Morris and Beasley are all solid players. Karnisovas et al have done a great job building out their rotation.Defensive slugfest going on between Houston and Denver right now. 53-52 with about 7 minutes left.
In the 2nd quarter. LOL
Been really exciting so far though. Denver is playing without Murray and Gary Harris, but Tory Craig and Beasley have been dunking like they're trying to get ready for the dunk contest.
They've done an amazing job drafting since 2013. Only miss is Mudiay.Denver is good and deep - Craig, Morris and Beasley are all solid players. Karnisovas et al have done a great job building out their rotation.
Not even sure this is going to turn out to be a miss as Mudiay has been fantastic this year posting 15/4/3 in part-time combo guard minutes. He was selected 7th and only Booker and Turner were selected after him who would have been a clear winner. The mistake the Nuggets made was gifting him the starting PG position as a 19-year old to ramp up his entitlement meter. They've done an amazing job drafting since 2013. Only miss is Mudiay.
This might be true. It's hard to tell much because the Knicks suck so bad.Not even sure this is going to turn out to be a miss as Mudiay has been fantastic this year posting 15/4/3 in part-time combo guard minutes. Yeah, I've been meaning to check in with you about Siakam. I liked him as a high-floor energy guy who'd play good D and be a decent roll and pop guy with his athleticism and mid-range touch, but if I recall correctly, you had him pegged with a higher ceiling. But his I don't think anyone saw this level of development in basically everything, this quickly. Kinda reminds me of Mitchell, who I really liked last year, but never saw becoming a lead guard as quickly as he did. And Tatum, in that they're all guys who just blow away their expected development curve. Or maybe just never got a chance in college to showcase where they were on the curve in the first place. Biggest surprises for me with Siakam have been him extending his range so quickly and his passing. Dude knows how to play basketball. He has me looking more closely at some of the college guys who started playing later in life like he did-Bruno Fernando and Sagaba Konate come to mind. Like, if they're having success in college despite being significantly behind on the growth curve, should we expect them to develop at a higher rate than a similarly aged prospect? I know it's not a new concept, and certainly many GMs have missed taking a swing at guys with this reasoning, but identifying a Siakam with a low pick is really valuable. Not myself and maybe not even Danny Darwinism, this boards two primary Siakam fans coming out of college, could envision what this player has become. I'm trying to determine what would prevent him from becoming an All-Star next year and I'm drawing blanks.
I love Siakam, but it's worth pointing out that he's a full four years older than Tatum (turns 25 this season), so is likely a lot closer to a finished product. Two years ago — i.e. when he was two years older than Tatum is now —Siakam still could not shoot, dribble, or pass.Kinda reminds me of [...] and Tatum, in that they're all guys who just blow away their expected development curve.
I adjust his age a bit lower because he started playing so late, and my evaluation of his potential as a lead scorer has gone up after watching him play more.I love Siakam, but it's worth pointing out that he's a full four years older than Tatum (turns 25 this season), so is likely a lot closer to a finished product. I am by no means comparing him to Tatum (or Mitchell) as a prospect, just noting that they’re all guys who quickly reset their expected growth curves once they entered the league. I was aware of what he could and couldn’t do at New Mexico State, and I was aware that he was old for his class. But now I’m questioning just how much the “closer to a finished product” part of my initial high-ceiling/low-floor assessment of him coming out of college should be discounted for guys like him who start playing hoops much later than is typical, yet still produce in college.I love Siakam, but it's worth pointing out that he's a full four years older than Tatum (turns 25 this season), so is likely a lot closer to a finished product. Doesn't it make statistical sense for him to skip the games in which the outcome will be least likely to be altered by his absence?King Chicken...
Oh ye of little faith!Clippers have been so awful and uninspired the last month. Getting curb stomped by the dogshit pistons is embarrassing. Even for a team as talentless as the clipps
Wait...wasn't he only back for one game?King Chicken...
Well, otherwise it don't mean a thing.I love this trade for the Jazz if they can swing it.
