Sad to say, I agree on Tatum. His 2018-19 season has been disappointing.

Andrew Wiggins: 71 / 2478
Karl-Anthony Towns: 77 / 2545
James Harden: 77 / 2830
Ben Simmons: 78 / 2679
Kyle Lowry: 65 / 2213
Kyrie Irving: 67 / 2214
Brook Lopez: 81 / 2322
Myles Turner: 74 / 2119
Luka Doncic: 71 / 2286
Hassan Whiteside: 71 / 1661 (53 starts)
John Collins: 60 / 1793
C.J. McCollum: 69 / 2346
Nikola Jokic: 78 / 2451
Paul Millsap: 68 / 1841
Klay Thompson: 77/2635

Players with injuries:

For all the talk of doc rivers doing a great job this year, the clipps losing 3 straight and locking into the 8 is a colossal blunder. Could've had a chance to win a game or two and help build the brand .000002% now they're staring at 4 straight embarrassing games.

Besides the Lakers loss, which is inexcusable, for the last quarter of the season, the Clips didn't lose to any lesser teams. Their only losses were at Utah, Portland, at Milwaukee, Houston, and at GS.

1-2 games left in the season, and the playoff seedings are still massively up in the air — especially in the West, where OKC could still land #5, 6, 7 or 8.

edit: I think the percentages might be off, since as far as I can tell if OKC, POR and DEN all win out, HOU drops to #4.

And this folks, is why you can't get too mad at Brad Stevens for playing guys during the Orlando game. Alternatively, Steve Kerr deserves some ire too...

If Charlotte makes the playoffs Kemba should be second team All-NBA. That might be the worst supporting cast to ever make the NBA playoffs.

Ugh. The Warriors had one. fvcking. job tonight.

They're calling it a "mild foot strain" (not ankle); and he was running around pretty well right afterwards, so I'd imagine (fingers crossed) it'll be okay in time for the playoffs in five days, but still. I'm not generally in favor of bubble-wrapping players, but when the #1 seed is clinched and we're talking Steph ... yeah.

I think that was 39 points in the 2nd half for Jamal Crawford, 26 in the 4th quarter.

51 for Jamal Crawford on 18-30 shooting. If that is his last game, it might be the best single performance any player has had to close their career.

Everyone should watch the Wade Bud commercial, his introduction tonight and the Dirk/Cuban speech (Cuban is one of the best owners in sports imho - he just gets it). Jamal Crawford crashing the party like he did was pretty damn fitting too. Then you get the OKC/Houston game. If that is a first round matchup, it may be the series of the postseason.

Tonight was one of the reasons the NBA is awesome for those who are as interested in the journey as they are the destination.

Didn't Kemp have a problem with the booze and drugs that derailed his career and caused the weight gain? I thought he had some Vin Baker in him.

if you watched the video, Dirk cited those 5 guys as inspirations for his game. With Shawn Kemp it was about high-energy dunks and playing with a high motor.

Bill Walton joining Ralph Lawler for his last game has been amazing so far. Hats off to Ralph for being ok with it because Bill is stealing the show

I hope people are live tweeting this performance.

Looks like the East playoffs is this

Bucks vs. Pistons
Raptors vs Magic
Sixers vs. Nets
Celtics vs. Pacers

According to my TV guide, it looks like the Saturday timeslots on ESPN are 12:30, 3:00, and 5:30 while there is an 8:30 ABC game. On Sunday, ABC has a 3:00 game while TNT has 5:30, 8:00, and 10:30.

I will guarantee that Toronto/Orlando gets the 12:30 Saturday game. LA/GS should get the Saturday primetime game. If it is Houston/OKC they'd get the 3:00 ABC game on Sunday. I bet Portland gets the Sunday 10:30 game.

I would probably slot the Celtics into the 5:30 Sunday game.

Wow. Somehow the half-tanking, half-playing like sh*t Nuggets threaded the finest of needles and got the three best teams in the West — GS, HOU, UTA — on the other side of the bracket. It took (1) them coming back from down 11 to the Wolves with 3 minutes left AND (2) the Kangz blowing a 28-point lead to the Blazers third-stringers to make it happen. Plus a whole ton of other crazy crap, like Houston blowing a 14 point lead with 9 minutes left yesterday, a Mo Harkless buzzer beater v. LA yesterday, etc.

Meanwhile, Houston, who looked like they were locked into the #2 seed not 45 minutes ago, end up slipping to #4, setting up a tough first round tilt v. Utah and (likely) an even tougher second-rounder v. the Warriors.

Put another way: one of DEN, OKC, SAS or POR is going to the Western Conference Finals.

To me, okc is the big winner. They own Portland and they wont fear the nuggets/spurs.

Yeah, we really fucked it up. God damn it. Utah, Warriors and then whoever in the conference finals. Damn near impossible.

George's shoulder is an issue and the pace/physicality of the playoffs means the chances of him aggravating it, either through sheer effort because, say, Enes Kanter is deliberately rough with him are pretty high. OKC is much deeper than they've been in years past - nobody is talking about Jerami Grant but he effectively had his breakout year this season - but if George is hampered, they are going to struggle to score.

I think the ORL-TOR will be more interesting than people expect. ORL has length and talent. ORL went 3-0 vs. BOS this season; 2-2 vs TOR; 2-2 vs. PHI; and 1-2 vs. MIL so they were over .500 against the top 4 teams in the East. () They also went 3-1 vs IND.) They also ended the season 21-9 after January.

All those would still be issues playing on the side of the bracket with houston and the dubs. Portland is still an easier draw.

They're good, but not many people are going to tune into this series.

If ORL can limit the exposure of Vucevic and Augustin, people are going to end up watching the series because it will be the last one going on in the East.

According to this article, since 1.29, ORL has been #1 in DRtg (104.3) and DReb% (76.9%), #3 in Reb%, #4 in NRtg (7.6), #5 in Ast%, #10 in ORtg (111.9), and #11 in TS% (56.4).

ORL was one of eight teams that beat TOR at home and one of seven teams that beat TOR more than once.

Vlade Divac is going to fire Dave Joerger today. What an unbelievably stupid move.
It's a bloodbath in Sacramento. In addition to Joerger being cut loose, Divac also fired the assistant GM and the Director of Media Relations. Not exactly the reaction you'd expect after the team's best record in 13 (!) seasons. NBA twitter is already dishing the dirt about Vlade and his desire to consolidate power now that he has his contract extension. Sounds like these firings are about eliminating guys that challenged him.

David Thorpe also speculating that Joerger was actively trying to get fired in the past few weeks because he covets the Minnesota job.

The more things change the more they stay the same in Sacramento.

Would we rather own the Memphis pick as structured for 2020-21, or rights to a Sacramento pick structured identically? Memphis is a smaller market with a smaller budget, but frankly I'm not sure.

Fox, Hield, and Bagley are promising enough that it will be tough for even Vlade to fuck this up. (I realize that that’s an invitation for me to hold his beer)
