Denver needs to get an alpha scorer. Kemba to Denver needs to happen this season.
I've been trying to figure out a trade that would bring Beal to Denver for awhile now. I don't think a Harris package would entice the Wiz and Murray doesn't make enough where you can get contracts to match. Murray might actually entice them too. Denver does have Will Barton returning soon and he's a very underrated player. They'll have IT4 at some point as well. They should both provide some offense.
Denver also has A LOT of youth, and a lot of it doesn't get press. Monte Morris looks like a legit PG with a 3 point shot. He never turns the ball over. Juan Hernangomez has been starting for the last month and has been lights out from deep and fits in well with the overall offense. Malik Beasley looks like a decent scoring option off the bench and Trey Lyles is another young stretch big, although he's struggled a little with his shot this year. Add them to Jokic, Murray and Harris and 8 of their 9 top rotation players are 24 or younger, and Harris is the only one at 24. The entire team is basically still improving. That will change to 8/10 when Barton is back, as he is one of the old men at 27.
Kemba to Denver would be insane but I'm not sure how available Kemba is. I think Jokic is a top 10 player in the league but he's definitely not an alpha scorer. He has scored less than double digits in 6 of his 22 games. Of course Denver is 5-1 in those games, and he averaged 9.2 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 27 minutes of play. The Nuggets had a +11.2 point margin in those games. They've been really good this year but adding an alpha scorer would make them a legit threat.
Not sure what other packages are out there for Beal. I'm with you on Doncic and DSJ but others think it's a bad fit. One of Harrison Barnes/Matthews and DSJ for Beal would work. I'm not sure Dallas wants to mess with things right now that they are doing well.
I wonder if LBJ and the Lakers would be interested in him. I'm not sure if they are allowed to trade Deng, but if they can, they match up salary wise pretty well if the other piece(s) are Ball and Ingram.
I see a lot of teams that would love to have Beal but don't have the players or contracts to match up.
