What was the call there?  DOGSO?  Because that's horseshit.  There was a Shakhtar defender keeping pace right in front of the goal on that.  Did the assistant have any input, because he should never have let that get called DOGSO.

Pretty sure that was the call, yes. And it seems like the linesman called for the penalty, not sure about the red. Shaktar had a chance down one. None now. Poor in both matches.

"Big games decided by gamesmanship," yup.

Did anybody else see the ref refuse to move from where the ball was landing and pick Verratti shortly after halftime?  I heard the announcers say that this ref did the Champions League final last season, but has anybody considered the possibility that he has a twin brother that has never reffed before and has taken the spot of his refereeing brother?  That seems like the most plausible explanation for how bizarre and awful this refereeing display has been.

I don't know if I can take 40 minutes of Mourinho rubbing himself on the sideline to the thought his precious away goal like Golem.  I almost hope Chelsea scores a couple, because at least that increases the chance, even incrementally, that Cavani or Luiz will break Terry's nose and drop some "industrial language" on him while he's bleeding on the floor.

California. Duh.
It's not over.  PSG needed a goal anyways, now they just need one to get to extra time.

Chelsea are still massive douchey jerkwads, though.

Why should it be over? No change for PSG. They have to score, no matter what. Sure, in extra time, it´s hard being a man down, but it´s not as if none of CHelsea can be sent off. Anything can happen..(like seen yesterday)

Should probably be red for Costa there. That ref is the anti-Oliver.

Edit: probably just a yellow in the EPL but CL has a low bar for red and honestly PSG deserve a makeup call

I think PSG is going to need another shorty.  No Ibra and Cortois v. Sirigu seems like an advantage to Chelsea if it gets to penalties.

I would love to see a video collage of all of the pro-Chelsea calls spliced in with all of the Mourinho complaining moments

5 Chelsea penalties in 8 champions league games. No wonder Mourinho thinks he's getting the shaft in domestic competitions.

Brazilian defenders...

Both in the World XI squad though. As a brazilian who watches hundreds of games around the world every year, I'll tell you that this dumb myth of "brazilian defenders are terrible" that gets spouted whenever a center back or a striker from here is bought by an european team is completely outdated. It's the equivalent of saying english teams play rigid 4-4-2 and hoof the ball into the area every chance they get.

If you want to say brazilian managers/coaches are tactically clueless and our teams tend to be unbalanced and leave a ton of space for the opposition, which makes it extremely hard to be a defender here, then yes, I'll agree.
