Haha oh no for sure. Blake will not carry the team. We had the joke about someone becoming a true Yankee or some shit at one point.

Fouls are um interesting so far
The amount of 'contact' required to foul Embiid or Harden is infuriating.

Yet another great first quarter for Tatum.

EDIT: Hopefully that gets him untracked.

Embiid just letting Grant shoot an uncontested shot at the rim. MVP MVP

Where is Grant's stock trading at this minute?

Also, Hauser is picking a fine time to leave his bricks to Lucille

It’s telling that JVG couldn’t manage to describe in generalizations the Celtics defense as “locked in” without pausing and adding: “most nights.”

Being able to watch the game on NBC Boston and not ESPNN is one of the small joys in life.

Only averaging 32 points a game over the last 9 games..
He's fantastic, no doubt. I've just never understood why he often shoots so poorly in the first quarter.

Better late than never.

Just tuning in. Pretty good first quarter for the good guys. Blake Griffin as the Celtics leading scorer is not that I ever would have guessed.

Feels like they’re in trouble once the three point variance shifts.
For sure, but winning the 1st quarter when Tatum/Brown combined for just 4 points while Embiid played the whole quarter is huge, and already in the books. Even without Horford/TL, the story of the Celtics success against Embiid has been that they play rope a dope with him. Philly should have a major edge when Embiid plays with both of our centers out.

Sixers have been horrible with Embiid on the bench this season. Gotta make hay with him out.

Our two starters put up 4 points so naturally we are up.
Seems like it's been pretty good team basketball so far too though.. doesn't feel like Tatum or Brown have been giving up a ton of open shots or anything.. C's could be working to get them a bit more open tho

I love Jaylen as a scorer, but man Brogdon looks better running this unit. Gimme KD.

When Hauser hits his first shot, as he did tonite, maybe look for him again?

Why trade Jaylen tho for the end of KD's career? Is it likely that KD has a lot more uninjured seasons in his future?

Benefit of the doubt? Blake was setup having a fucking picnic at that spot before Harden got there. And did Harden take 3 steps?

You're right, but man another full Tatum would unlock this team.
Of course I can see why we'd want KD, but I also really want to see Tatum and Brown together in their mid 20s.. they've been pretty good together so far.. just want to see them in their prime.
